I'm sure someone would pay up to $3000 for that. I don't think it's worth that much, but if you find the right buyer... I know I'd love to take it off your hands!

I would say it depends on how quickly you want to sell it, 3000-3500$ is a good price locally and it should go quick , but right buyer wanting a complete done CR250 might pay 4000-4500$

My issue would be selling it after I'm done with it. But I suppose I'm not the target audience for a bike like this. Although I really want that suspension!

For what it's worth Earlier this year I bought a bike similar to yours, pretty much all new everything besides frame, suspension and case halfs with only a few rides on it. Mine had about almost the price of a new bike worth of titanium on it, tons of trick bits and a few works parts on it. It was basically a no budget bike build with close to stock suspension. Also came with a ton of spares and I paid $5800 for it. Some might think I overpaid for it but I'm happy with what I got for the $$$, would have cost me almost triple that to do my own build-up like what was done. Some guys will look at a 2002 bike and say $2500 tops no matter how nice it is. I think you could get $4k for it pretty easily. A 2002 CR like that is worth the same as if it were a 2007 to me.

If I were you I'd remove the ti axles and swingarm pivot and forks, put the stock stuff back on and sell them separately. I think bike is still worth $3k without those parts, you'd come out further ahead.

Hey Grizz, I have an almost new set of those forks i can sell seperately Smile . They are Black upper and Black dlc lower though, not the mag upper.

Not sure How many hours were on it before the build. Everything is either new or completely gone over though. The bike was ridden in one photo shoot and one practice evening at PIR and that what accounts for the 2.6 hours

Also have a matching CR125 that I need to get rid of also. Got a new job as a mechanic this year and need to off the bikes as I wont be riding.

My graphics didn't show up for when those original photos were taken, is the reason for different side panels. They showed up a day after the shoot!

Thanks for that! I'm willing to take a little less to get rid of the bikes though. I'd pull that stuff but really they belong with the bike as a whole now. Maybe even package deal for someone who wants both!!

I sold my '03 last spring for $2300. It wasn't as blinged out as yours but it was a low hour bike in great shape. Realistically I'd say yours is worth $3000-3500.

You say you're going into a new job as a mechanic eh..... how about a new snap on box? I have tons of snap on tools and boxes. Most are limited edition and all are masters series and epiq series boxes. It's the best stuff you can get box wise. Wait-. before the comments start flying, TOOLBOX WISE not the other..... Of course I have lots of other stuff too, LE generators, compressors, tools in different colors etc etc. I won't invest in the cock market so I buy tools when they become extremely cheap or bikes or three wheelers or cars or trucks or tractors or ........

Almost forgot- I also have the LE snappy kegmiester, fridge, grill, and various other things that were modeled after toolboxes but were made to various other things as mentioned above, very cool and very hard to get.

Thanks TerryK,

Lot of hours invested. Dont have a lot of money so it was a long build and some things could stand to be replaced. Wish i had the money just to throw new radiators and a wheel set at it, then she'd be perfect. But i have this opportunity for SX and Outdoor so i need to sell everything and then start a new project in the offseason!

2002 CR125 . Fully Ported and case match motor. 38PWK Carb. Vortex Ignition. Doma Pipe and silencer. Has a stock cylinder head on it right now as i couldnt get replacement o-rings for the Bud racing head in time for dream race. New oem honda clutch, new oem honda crank, wiseco piston. 3 hours on complete engine build. Showa Forks off of CRF250. Race Tech Gold valves front and rear, valved and sprung 150 LB Pro. Can put a set of Marzocchi Forks if desired but they are not set up for this bike and would need to be valved and sprung accordingly. I got this bike new in July of 2001. It sat in storage from mid 2002 until 2012 when I built it for the 125 dream race at Washougal Last year. Got hurt, couldnt ride it, did ride it this year at the 125 dream race.

I guess I can help because I bought one from the same area. In the mid-west or south that bike might not be worth more than 1500, but I got my 2004 from Vancouver for 2700. It was in great condition, but largely stock. Given your extras, I'd say you're in the 2500-3000 ballpark, but it's a 2002. That's my 1/50 of a dolla.

If your willing to sit awhile, I'd say 3,400. To get it out the door 2600-3K

Okay if anyone is interested, the 250 for $3400 obo and the 125 for $2600 obo. Does that sound fair? If someone wants both may be able to do a little package deal Smile . Remember, the reason i am selling is to be able to afford to move as i i will be wrenching for one of, if not the top privateer coming into this season. Think of it as helping him out some with this Wink .

From your description and pictures I would say someone will be getting a great deal. Best of luck to you. Cool
