Many of you know about Cody Strout and his battle 4 yrs ago with a brain tumor....his brave nature and ability to put a smile on your face even when he wasn't feeling so great from Chemo treatments.
He has been doing great living as a normal 15 yr old boy in IL. Until yesterday, when they went in for his 1 yr recheck MRI.....the tumor is BACK and the same size as before. His mom Shell was so nervous about this long gap between check-ups, but said it is a good thing cause he is doing so amazing. He is trying to stay positive and say lets get this going and fight it, so I can get back to my life. His parents, as any parent would be, are beside themselves with worry. I reach out for prayers and thoughts for him and his family while they once again endure the evils of cancer. He will be having surgery on Monday and I will be keeping you updated as I get information. Many of you stepped up and put a smile on his face when we all 1st learned about him. I ask you now for lots of positive thoughts and prayers. Anything written here I will forward on to the family so they can once again feel the compassion our sport has....

They were able to remove all of the tumor from Cody's brain. :-) I am sooo happy right now. (almost in tears) He should be taken out of ICU by the end of tonight. He is doing well and will start Chemo treatments in a few weeks. I love when you see the power of prayer and people coming together fora gerater good! :-)
