CMT composite end caps

I bought some carbon fiber end caps to my crf 450 but dont understand how to install them, anyone have any experience?

Put some silicone inside them and slide them overtop the stock caps. Cool

If you really need to drill the holes...?

Do A LOT of research on HOW to DRILL Carbon-fiber.

How much were the caps?

duct tape or denture adhesive

Just look for someone over 50 and they should have duct tape and denture adhesive you can use

You can't just drill or cut carbon fiber without taking some precautions.

Yes for sure. But at least it's no strength carrying part. Personally I wouldn't use rivets either. Always a pain in the arse when dismantling.

i thought it would be a better way to install it but maybe ill have to use silicon seams better then drilling in carbon..

Its very unlikely they will cover the original caps and go inside the muffler.
