Not really. Do you expect gear sets to be completely different each year? I believe they ran out of schemes, patterns and colors to do that 20 years ago and everything can be considered more or less similar to another if you look at it this way.

Most gear is made in one of three/four factories. There are huge cost savings if all manufacturers get on the same 'colorway' page, hence the similarity. This year's hot color will be next year's bargain gear---and four years from now it will be the hot color....again.

These jeans look like those jeans (insert photo of two different brand jeans that look the same).

Cyan and black looks nice, what's the big deal. Plus it looks nothing like the Seven stuff from a couple of years ago.

im a fan of Alias ( own and use actively) and was pretty pumped on this vented line until I saw it. To me it looks like the rider is wearing a black sports bra.
