Haha. Man it's the best. Admittedly I stole that but I will recycle it when the time comes

I make low ball offers, proudly. Have made many great buys just because I was the only guy offering real cash.

The seller is in no way obligated to accept, or even respond.

Pay the price you'd be happy with.
This - never know if you don't ask. Not always in the market for a different bike but if the price is right I'll buy. If you don't like my offer ignore it, but many times I'll get an initial no thanks and then 3 weeks latter when they haven't sold it they get back in contact. Win-win, the seller gets the cash and I get another bike.

I got one yesterday, from a kid trying to trade a fully clapped out KTM 250sx for my minty fresh 250f... "I want to trade but your bike has big problems locking up".....responded to him, "then why would you want it, find another bike". Got a good laugh, Its pretty fun selling, hear from some characters. Don't take it too serious, also putting the 2 mph comment in rotation. GOLD!

1) Set a fair price for your bike.
2) Stick to it.

If your price is fair in the market you are selling into, it will sell at that price.

This is by far my favorite craigslist poster . He has had this fourwheeler on and off craigslist for 3 months . He also is selling a "motocross racing " xr 200.

Go look at it . Biggest piece of junk i have ever seen . Has a ton of engine noise

Too bad you don't live closer. My foreman is looking for one of those and that is a good price!
