I really hope that tracks will open here in ohio. We are getting very strict with this quarantine and I'm concerned it might stay that way for awhile. Bars and restaurants are now closed with more restrictions coming. I need to moto.

Totally unrealistic!! Not just concerts, Moto, school, bars, restaurants but what about the grocery store, parks etc.. you can’t ban or cancel everything and expect people to stay in there houses for 8 weeks...

Too much panic going on right now...πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

If the NFL pulls the plug on the draft, you know nothing is happening in Vegas!

Wow.

I flew back from Orlando to Boise today. The Orlando airport security line was intense. Lots of families headed home from cancelled vacations.

Believe me it isn't unrealistic. All concerts in almost all European countries are "postponed" till 3 or even 5 April. All Bars and Restaurants are closed till those dates too. Schools are also closed and only kids from people who are working in hospitals or kids who have no options besides the grand parents are welcome (because the government and the scientists say: don't put your kids at their grand parents houses because that is dangerous). There are also tons of other things that are closed or have restrictions like: barbers, clothing shops, ...

The only thing that are open without much restrictions are grocery stores because people need to eat.

PS: Do I like it, off course not. But when you see what is happening you start to realize this ain't joking matters anymore. This is a little more then "just a flu".

So we are quarantined but then everyone goes to the grocery store??? That makes it a hot spot for the virus...

And my point being is that the CDC thinks that people can stop working, be unsocial, and it will be a success??
People with kids can’t stay in the house and backyard for 8 weeks.. and not go crazy... your going to get people at the beach, parks etc...
You close down say .... my local Mtn bike shop for 8 weeks, it’s going out of business.. as will numerous other mom and pop shops...you close manufacture jobs for 8 weeks and products Price will sky rocket..

My wife was outside with the dogs, her phone was blowing up on the kitchen counter, then I read what you posted. Went outside with her phone. Casino operations close tomorrow, she is scheduled to start her shift at 12 noon, maybe not?

You don’t get it. It’s not panic, it’s just an attempt to get ahead of the numbers and limit the downside.

Actually it’s more about preventing the collapse of the healthcare system but I’m guessing you aren’t too interested in facts

I agree it’s to get ahead and stay ahead but when you have stores being cleaned out, and government shutting social gatherings, schools closing down, and countries on lock down its panic..

This equation is wrong and flawed. If you contract it there are only two results. You either recover or die. So the real equation is deaths divided by total number of recoveries+deaths because the recoveries and deaths are an end result. Contractions mean nothing because there hasn't been an end result yet. Because the deaths happen faster than the recovery it should be expected that the death rate starts off high but gradually lowers as the time it takes to recover catches up. In Italy it's currently 3 deaths for every 7 people who get it. 43%. Mainly due to an older population in the red zone.

The airport lines across the country are insane. And they aren’t even taking precautions like taking temps or anything..
