If u look at Eli Tomac as Guy B is interviewing Reed, Eli is listening to every word he speaks...
One day Reed will be a major sponsor in this sport .. some may say I’m tripping but watch the body language..
Reed speaks people listen even if it’s shit they don’t wanna here !

Discount Tire was the primary sponsor for Team TwoTwo-------until FELD slithered up......then poof! DT is a featured sponsor for FELD SX. And, then shortly thereafter, Team TwoTwo shuttered.... Rinse and repeat.

So we are speculating on here that CBDMD is sponsoring SX and may or may not be bailing on Reed?

If Feld underhandedly stole this sponsor from Reed, I’m thinking as stubborn as he is he would flip off Feld and be done racing here, right now.

I think it’s pretty awesome that a good, wholesome company like Feld, who owns 1/2 of Disney, Nickelodeon, Disney on Ice, Monster Jam, part of NBC, and many others would accept porn money.,,. Yes... CBD MD is funded and owned by Pornhub.... guess money beats morals every day....

I'm going to reserve judgement until things play out further because if this doesn't take away from the individual sponsorship they have with Reed like the Discount Tire drama or limit other CBD businesses from coming into the sport to sponsor teams/riders, then I'm all good.

Owning 1/2 of Disney is a little out of Feld's league and I think you're mistaken about NBC and Nickelodeon. They're also not wholesome with their sordid past in the circus and if you dig into the family past it gets really effin weird. It's nearly a given that CBDMD and Pornhub are probably operating their businesses to higher standards than the Felds.

I don't believe Discount Tire was the sole reason for TwoTwo shutting down was it? If I remember correctly a big part of it was Chad not being able to run his camera sponsor in the outdoors because they had an exclusive deal with GoPro at the time. That's not to say the Discount Tire deal didn't play it's part but there were other factors to the team shutting down I believe.

Losing a sponsor that you developed (and benefitted from) to another team sucks [i.e., Bel-Ray from TwoTwo to RCH].

Losing a primary sponsor to the series promotor sucks on a completely different level.

Get in the Wayback Machine and check out TwoTwo's semi------they never again had a primary sponsor like DT. Sure Chad kept it open for a bit---out of his own pocket (according to the man, himself).

In the post-race interview that Reed does with Matthes, he seems pretty OK with the deal. He says something along the lines of "if it brings money to the whole sport it's gotta be a good thing". I'm surprised to hear this, because this is definitely opposite of his opinion after Discount Tire left 22 to sponsor the series instead. But who knows, maybe Chad learned from his previous dealings and structured his deal with CBDMD in such a way that he does not lose out if they move to a bigger sponsorship of the sport?

I'm not a CBD guy at all, but if they want to put money in and give Reed a chance to do all 17 rounds then it's a good thing. Regardless of what they do beyond that.

I was also very surprised but i'm too cynical. I see that as Chad understanding that it is impossible to race on 4 wheels (especially the type of racing he wants to do) without either "f-u money" in your bank account or some very, very good personal sponsors.

He would slag off this whole situation if he wouldn't have plans on racing cars.

Very good point. I had not considered that his ultimate plan with CBDMD might be way beyond 2-wheel racing.
