He makes it just look Effortless! Can't wait until next year when he moves up to the 450's. Smooth as butta!

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

He just KNOWS he is going to win.

Just imagine it for a second. A 450 class that looks like this

Dungey
Pourcel
RV
Reed
Stewart
Grant
Alessi
Windham
Short

Holy shit....

|

Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?

I wasnt putting them in order. Just throwing out the names. Im also not sure about James being #1. He will have the toughest class he's ever raced in, while he hasnt raced in a long, long time. Im also pretty sure he is looking past the sport these days. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Next year is shaping up as the deepest 450 field in many years. There's a shitload of AMA and GP titles amongst that lineup.

I agree....
It is sure gonna be fun watching him on the 450 next year.
Wonder where he will go?
Factory Kawi?
(I think Kawi would be crazy to let this kid go from their brand)

It looks like CP just want some comp...don't think we've seen his limit yet. He, Villo and Dungey should be something to see.

But those you have listed will never all race against each other in either indoor or outdoor series.

Pourcel too fragile to be that good on 450, too much bike for him, he best on little bike. But Rattray, that guy is a bulldog, he will be much better on 450. Whoever hires Pourcel for big bikes, better develop a 350, haha. Townley, Reed, Stewart, RV, Dungey, Alessi, and of course Grant, they all need to give Pourcel a little 'welcome' to the big bike class, Pourcel won't like that. Think chihuahua with tail between legs, it can still go fast, as long as no 'big dog' is around.

I take it you've only recently discovered motocross?

You've seen Pourcel race those guys on a 450? I guess I am new, I had no idea. So what happened?

Pourcel rides a 250 like a 450 and still hauls ass.

|

6/26/2010 4:05 PM

CP has been rumoured to ride the 450f in training for a while and everybody that's seen him says he's amazingly fast on it. Speed wise he will be where Dungey is. Health wise it still unclear where he's at but I wouldn't bet against him. The guy mindset is he's the best out there so he's not gonna for a year of learning he's going for the win just like Bubba did.

|

6/26/2010 4:09 PM

There is no doubt CP is fast, but I just think he will be frustrated when he gets pushed around a bit.

Nope I havent seen him race those guys on a 450, but it would seem YOU HAVE, seeing as a 450 is too much for poor little fragile Pourcel.

You only need to look at what Dungey & Metcalf have been able to do (plus Canard to a degree) to see Pourcel wont have too much trouble adapting. He'll thrive in the 450 class, its probably what he's been waiting his whole life for.
