Who's buying a bunch of junk today? I really want a cool helmet and boots but all I really need is tires oil and maintenance stuff.

Who here gets in trouble for always having boxes coming? My wife grew up in Mexico without air-conditioning and now we have money to burn but I still have to try and get the boxes before she sees them.

My father in law and I were joking about trying to sneak in boxes before our wives see them. Apple doesn’t fall far. Better than her draining our savings, though!

My wife knows I need some stuff and is actually encouraging me to save money by buying todayEvil
She's bargained for me to fix up the old one rather than buy a new one LOL.

Hey Spin, you ever make it to Spoaks?

My company put me on working from home this year, it has been a blessing, parts go straight from the door step to the parts cabinet in the garage before the wife gets home.

OP before you spend on new boots and helmet check out mxlocker and elite boots. I got boots from elite boot that still had the tags on them way less than retail.

When wives get upset about men spending money on their bikes, I say that men are gonna spend money somewhere, some go to casinos and gamble it away, some go to bars. Motorcycles arent so bad !

I'm normally the one going "I don't know, do I really need to spend this much on a helmet?" And the wife usually says if you like it then just get it and quit over thinking it. Guess I got a good one...

I've never been there, I usually like murphy's when I go north because my 10 year old nephew is just learning and the night track is easy for him.
Is spoaks safe for a beginner?

Lot's of them on the main track followed by Dad's, sometimes they go over jumps and sometimes around, mostly after the fast guys go home. Also a Vet track that's safe, a turn track mostly just for kids and easy trails. 15 miles from Murphy's.

She's never said a word about it. She knows I don't spend money I don't have to.

Been with my wife for 20 and married 16. We have always had a joint account since day one. She buys things and I buy things and we are good, as long as you let your wife buy things she’s perfectly fine with me buying things. She even set up a moto play money account where I have money go in every week. Had no clue she did this and I already have a couple hundo to spend. I have zero complaints on my end, just have to learn how to make it work for everyone👍🏻

To answer the original post though I've bought the works connection clutch perch setup and a Motool V4 so far. Might hold off on anything else because I'm sending the suspension out next week.

I couldn’t find any deals on the Rekluse manual slave cylinder but bought it anyhow. Bought the PC water pump kit at 35% off ....like the OP, don’t really “need” it but something about treating myself on Black Friday.

The O'Neal RDX? I've over jumped and stuff and never had issues and I'm pretty chubby. They feel very secure like any expensive brands I've tried on. Most comfortable boot I've owned, but I haven't owned super expensive boots. Maybe you are thinking of the O'Neal elements that look similar and they're pretty terrible, only like $80.
