Can anyone tell me more about these bikes. I believe i have a 1968 model. Also any leads on parts and what kind of value do these hold. Thanks!

Can you post up serial number ? From looking at the hubs and engine cases and frame its much closer to '68 than '75

not a 75 closer to a 68, right side shift, round primary case, pre 1970, first 3 numbers will tell the model, looks like a matador to me

looks like a 68ish "elbandido" with the shocks forward mounted. ugly rear clip is missing, wrong or backwards mounted front wheel. not much value. if you are lookin fix and race forget it. if your just want a project ck ebay for parts. best vintage race bultaco is a 73/74 pursang with 75 or rear wheel and motor cases. newer cases or complete motor will give you left side shift and the newer rear wheel has the brake drum on the right.
1975 is my fav but is not allowed in the vintage class at most races.

Thanks for all the help. I probably wont end up fixing it. Maybe part it out since the engine is seized. But i do appreciate all the info.

that would be great if you already had a project bike on the go

starting with that? not unless you love that model

once upon a time i had a matador, and a few persangs

Like the others have said, looks like an El Montedaro. With the rounded side cases, late 60's. The first three digits of the Engine/Frame number tell the story. Much worse looking bikes have been resurrected, but yours is a definite fixer upper. Would have to be a love of a challenge or some emotional attachment to the model/year.

It used to probably look something like this:

I am not that knowledgable on early Bultacos, but I believe the early Bandido's had this configuration and later (67?) they added the fiberglass duck tail.

Edit: Just read that Bultaco offered a motocross model and scrambles model. Sounds like the this photo may be the scrambles model.

Thanks for the link! Not sure which way to go yet. But i remember the 250s had a crazy power band and it might be fun to see how this thing goes.
