Started with nothing but a frame from a 10 dollar 1979 CR125 mini storage find. Add a set of $3000.00 Fox Forks with $700.00 worth of mods, a $1500.00 set of shocks, $900.00 custom swing arm, $1000.00 worth of rebuilt 1980 CR125 wheels, tires....., complete fresh built engine from the ground up with crank, clutch, bearings, seals, gaskets, Millenium plating, nos piston kit, PVL ignition, Mikuni, pipe, silencer, NOS 79 tank, new 80 model seat and plastics, bars, chain, sprockets, grips, levers, cables, filter....good God where does it end!Smile

Good Times!

Looks like the 23 inch wheel was swapped out? Was that a previous owner's mod or another update you made? To be done correctly, was it the frame down tube that needed to be shortened? Seems it's only been Honda that has messed with different front wheel sizes in the past...23 and 20.

Al Baker mod was to cut about 8-9 mm out of the top tube and pull it back to get the rake right for the 21 inch wheel. Did that. Also used the 80 model seat as the 79 seat looks stupid when you go to a 21 inch wheel. The 80 seat is taller in front and we had the suspension built for only 10 1/2 inches of travel at each end. 78-80 CR250 front fender and 80 model side panels. Sits right, looks right, handles pretty damn sweet for an old CR.

Both those bikes are insane?
