Another amazing charge by Tomac. When he was stuck behind Barcia and Bagget for so long it didn't look like he had a shot.

Marv bonked HARD. From the lead in the moto to 40 seconds behind Tomac at the checkers.

Life is adversity, and how we deal with it. Congratulations to Ken Roczen for coming thisclose to his first national race win after 1 year, 51 months, and 2 devastating arm injuries that would have ended a lesser man’s racing career. Cheers Kenny. Next year. Or maybe even next week.

Bagget was my MVP today. His charge gave Eli the overall and made the points gap a little bigger going into the final round.

At least KROC passed Barcia in the O/A standings for third.

Herlings will present him something for sure haha
Honestly I don’t know what to think anymore, I get amazed by one on Saturday just to have the same reaction for the other on Sunday. Good starts will definitely be key, they know too that they’re no Musquin/Cairoli to each other, you can’t make a charge on the charger Wink

Solid insight from Eli after that race when asked how he was able to flip the switch. The first half of the moto was FAST. So fast that everyone used up all of their energy in a SX style sprint but there more race left than what they had for energy and they tanked. He maintained a pace that was slower than that 1st half sprint pace and do it through the end of the moto. So cool to watch him stay so strong.

No. He defected and he's out. Do you think France would even consider a foreigner for a MXDN team the way America does for Puerto Rico?

I think this Tomac kid is going to make it in this sport after all.
I agree. He will get up to speed in time. Smile

Budds seemed quite hardpacked too, not a ton of line variation so they all seemed fairly evenly matched. Typically Eli's advantage has been when it's rough as hell, which Red Bud will be.

BUT. It'll be starts. If they gate together all bets are off but I don't think either is fast enough to run the other down with a bad start.
