Hi guys,
I have recently had my chain snap and go through the case protector and has broken the case.
The bike is 2007 and I am struggling to source a second hand or cheaper cases that's under $1000, any recommendations of who or where to look?

Cheers

Depending on how bad it is, if you have a reputable welder and machinist near you, it can be fixed. Usually not pretty but an experienced guy can do crankcase repairs as long as the damage is not too near the crank main bearing housings.

I had the same thing happen on my old RM back in the day. How bad is yours? I was able to JB weld mine.

I should have a set of '08 cases lying around. Hit me up and I'll check it during the weekend.

A brand-new crank case set retails for $609.20. Part #11301-37860.
Probably a backordered part, but it's still available in the Suzuki EPC.

Yep, done that twice. Made some nice coin parting out the “donor “ bikes.

The left case has been repaired by the clutch lever arm ,see picture

Either toss the case saver, or round the leading edge off to try and deflect the chain binding up should it derail.
Have seen that happen more than once using those "case breakers". Once where a rock jammed up between the saver and chain, broke the cases, chain still on.

Have you given Millenium Technologies a call? Maybe show them the pics and tell them what peieces you have left over. I see they do head and cylinder repair, maybe they can help or point you to someone who can.
