We've recently built a 2023 YZ 500 Two Stroke and had a lot of people ask us to let Nev Bradshaw give it a try. Check out the video to see how he got on!

I aint the most social media active guy, but as soon as I saw "YZ500" and "Bradshaw" I knew it was going to be Nev Bradshaw on this project bike, having seen the previous build vids and other Lazer999 vids. I aint the least bit upset.

That bike is sikk as hell and the perfect loamy/misty conditions and 500 sounds made for an awesome vid. I'm generally not a 500 build guy, but this vid made me go look at the BRC website!! If I was going to do a 500 build this is the route I'd go.

I bet Damon himself wouldn't be pissed about this! haha

I think that the 500 kit is pretty awesome, but this tidbit on the BRC site REALLY sounds interesting.........!!!!!

I am pretty sure that the people in here would have watched it even if the topic were ”Nev Bradshaw testrides a BRC kitted yz250”
But its is a 2023 yamaha YZ with an 2023 BRC engine in it so the title is not misleading at all. Maby if you live under a rock and is stupid enough that you think that yamaha has secretly built an OEM YZ500 then maby it is missleading but then you are also stupid as a rock.

The title of the forum post is what was clickbait. “nev” wasn’t always there. Everyone thought we were clicking on a Damon Bradshaw riding a 2 stroke vid.

FFS....this place is priceless. People pissed off over a title and completely overlooking the awesomeness of the content.

I came in expecting Damon Bradshaw too.... but didn't give it a 2nd thought when I watched the video.

Max - Good video, great job on the bike by you and Roland and obviously great job by Nev on riding it, guy is a ripper and was awesome at Foxhill and the couple of times I've caught him (to watch, definitely not caught him on track) at a practice track.

Looks like a badass kit from BRC and sounds like a lot of fun in a modern YZ, credit to those guys for their continued work too.

I knew straight away it'd be Nev, I can also understand people jumping to the Damon conclusion with a big bore involved, I get it, but it's not clickbait and the guy isn't trying to stitch anyone up, relax.

since we're all just spitting rage today, I'll pile on:

Vital, I KNOW you guys gotta make money and I totally respect that. But there's GOT to be a way to adjust the settings so that we don't have to enjoy the 15s commercial every single time we start a YT video. It's more than a little annoying when we're trying to watch a 30s clip of something and have to push through a commercial.

I live 80 miles away from the brc factory. Ive ridden a 21 300xc with the 500. Fantastic power. Very fun and easy to ride.I hear through the grapevine the owner will be bringing up the yz version for us to ride . Us being the owner of the 500ktm and his riding buddies. Woohoo!

Weird, I see no commercial prior to playing videos here. Sometimes theres a 3-4 second delay before it starts.

ML or some other marketing genius can probably tell us the whole truth, but I bet the difference is whether or not you have and are logged into your YT account. If you are a YouTube subscriber, I bet the ads do not show.

On this browser (which is viewed on a PC) I'm not logged in to YT.

Could be mobile phone related?

I hate ads. I'd rather donate to the site directly to avoid ads.

nope. EVERY SINGLE video forces me to watch a full 15s ad. I'm logged into YT. Have logged out and same result. I know it's a first world problem, but damn, it's annoying. I've learned to click the YT title in the vid which takes me to YT where I can then watch the video (and of course if I get an ad, I can skip it quickly).

Our site has a pre-roll system built in that plays in front of all video embeds on site. We sell our own pre-roll ads in ad packages. Keeps the lights on around these parts.
