This is a good read. I knew him years after his racing career. He was by far the craziest rider i ever rode with in the desert. So must fun to watch him. And a really cool guy. The article is a bit long but worth it.

Eddie was an absolute pleasure to watch ride. He was 5 years older than I, so him being an 80 expert at the time, he was god-like. And to add, the article is 100% accurate in stating how bad the stock YZ80 was in 84..... Watching him push that stock bike was a lesson to everyone about effort. Glad I was able to see him pushing the limits with some of the best mini riders of all time. Now as for his DMC bike, that thing deserves its own write up! Hey DC, I’m sure Troy Lee would let you have some access to it...... Be careful, it’s precious metal!
