I want to see the guy up front, what lines he's taking, what adjustments he's making, not some 4th or 5th place battle, Ferry got way more airtime than the leaders, Bullshit ..

Well then break out the RC tapes from the past 10 years of MX and you can watch him run away from the field all you want.

I'd rather watch the 4th and 5th place battle.

I am surprised they mentioned SH105 at all, but they DID mention his accomplishment. The co-story of the weekend.

Monster sponsored the thing and Ferry drinks it......leader drinks water or red bull.

No coverage for you

Im diggin the commentating. T
he broadcast left A LOT to be desired though.
I agree that run-aways are not fun to watch , but, what did we just watch? A few highlighted passes and some replays.
I don't want to be a negative Nancy , it just seems like it was quickly thrown together. In a different thread I was commenting on how the 2nd moto ended. My wife thought I FF'd too far on the Tivo. The race ended with no warning!

Let's hope it improves as the season progresses. And starts being broadcast 6 days sooner. Grinning

I agree I wanted to see more of James too, but seeing some of the battles was cool too.

In the webcast they were talking about some crazy line/jump James was taking over the finish line section but they never showed anything about it on TV, that is what I was waiting to see. They shouldn't just show the guy out front the whole time, but these 20 second clips of him don't allow you to see why he is so far out front.

Yea, it went from Emig saying "Alessi is hanging with him preety good" to the next shot of him saying " James has a huge lead on the field".

Agreed. They should follow the leader for a complete lap, or maybe two. But, the rest of the racing in the field is where the rest of the coverage should be.

That'd be exciting. 55 minutes of stalking girls in the pits, and 5 minutes of racing highlights (two starts and two finish line at the checkers jumps).

I was so disappointed when I realized it wasn't in Hi-def like the Supercrosses. The video was horrible.

Mike Allesi saying in his interview after the 1st moto that he could have raced with James made me laugh.

Laughing

We could have special guest pairs like Premix and Titan, or P and Huck.

Alot of idiots are gonna tell you to just be happy it's on TV.......
It's true. If you all think it is so bad, then put your millions in the pot and start doing it better. You whiny little asswipes sit here and criticize everything and everyone while them, NOT YOU, are the ones out there training every day, racing the circuit, taking pictures, filming the events, etc.

The fact is, there was a time when there was little to no coverage of motocross or supercross; it is relatively new. Instead of welcoming it, everyone whines and complains about it. If I were a tv exec and I read all your whiny comments, I'd pull the damn show just to shut your asses up. But then you would complain about that! Brendan Francis Behan said it best:

"Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves."
