Probably going to visit family in Boise for Thanksgiving. Would love to get some track time in Friday/Saturday if weather allows and anything is open.

What's good in the area? We do moto only, no trails.

Thanks. Looks like kinda hardpack-ish on recent vids. Assume rain will change it quite a bit. MX33 rear? We are running MX12 here for winter but that's on sand over a hard base.

In my opinion, OMC is a much nicer setup than Skyline. Closer to town, nice scenery, sandy winter track, less wind because it’s in the hills.

It’s been so long since I’ve been there… can a member take you guys along for the day as guests? (I can’t remember how that works). Definitely my favorite winter track in the area.

Hammer... for a comparison as of late, it would be like PC and Dixon when they rip it fairly deep.
(You remember when you were local to the area Wink ) Skyline get's rutty with multiple lines, stay's moist.

It is out in the flat desert area, weather can definitely change it's condition, especially if it's windy.

No as members we we cannot bring in guests.. skyline will be your only option for a true mx track… plenty of good shit in surrounding area for hill tracks…

We went to Skyline on Saturday. It was frigging fantastic!!! We were first there, and Rick showed us around. The national track was fully prepped, deep and loamy in many places, with a few clay or sandier sections. It was amazing for the first 10 laps since you could go anywhere and have traction. Wide variety of jumps with a few real booters and a huge 120+ foot step up for those with the gonads (not me!). All the jumps were safe enough, faces and lips were excellent, and the track help up very well. They laid down a little water throughout the day and the dirt stayed really good all day. 2:12 lap time for my boy, longer for me. Rode the Vet track for a lap or 2 (boring to me) and saw others riding the 2 or 3 other tracks on the property. We stayed on the big track as it was so much fun. Can't wait to go back.

After 2+ hours on the meter, we went to 3 Wood Pub and had some of the best pizza I've ever had. And I lived in Italy for 4 years. Outstanding food at 3 Wood!

Late in day, dirt is still very good.

Big step up side view. 4th gear wide on his 125.
