Bogle crashed out of moto one and did not line up for moto two. Bogle, sadly, will not be back for the remainder of the MX Nationals.

We texted him to see if he was hurt after his moto one crash. "I'm not hurt," he replied. "But the team and I collectively decided that I should take a step back and take some time to evaluate things. It's very unlikely that I will be back for any outdoors as of now."

It looks to us like Bogle has struggled to get comfortable on the Suzuki RM-Z450 chassis, which is the same now as when he rode for the RCH Suzuki team in 2017. Even then, Bogle told us that the chassis was ill-handling and tough to set up...

Bummer for Bogle. I know there is a lot of Bogle haters because of his results and good rides but I think he's a good dude and still fast when he's healthy. He's just had too many consecutive years of injuries and at his age he is behind the eight ball.

Sounds like Marshal Weltin will get Bogles ride for remaining outdoors.

Bogle can get great starts but then throws out the anchor and fades

Kenny dominated on it back then. Sorry Bogle, but it's not the bike.

When you are fighting the bike , more than the track and your competition.......it can make anyone fade.

The chassis is not the same as the 17 RCH. You hippies have to be tired of me posting that.

I think it’s more of not gelling with being a pro racer, tough way to make a living. Hartranft is having a good season.

Shame for Bogle, good dude and had some tough breaks, but it is what it is.

Awesome to hear Weltin is getting a leg up, hope that goes well.

As a fellow Okie I've always rooted for him. Wish him good luck and happy trails for the future.

I think having a lot of bad luck, and then this year mentally with his good friend passing (I think it was a street bike accident) really has to be weighing on him.

Who knows, maybe he has a deal in place for World SX and already knew this was going to his last MX season anyhow. He isn’t doing well and obviously doesn’t have the fitness for outdoors. Why not take a break, recharge and be ready for World SX in fall?

He is the type of rider I see being a good fit for US SX/ world SX only rides like Seely is doing.

Personally I think it's more of a mental thing than anything and he just needs a break away from the grind and pressure of racing. Between his friend passing, several injuries, issues with the bike and bad results, his confidence has to be shot to hell.

He's a good dude and fast as hell but you can just tell he's not himself and needs a total reset. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen from him. I wish nothing but the best for Justin.

This is a pic of his bike as you can see it has a steering dampener & the fork tubes are also flush on the top clamp to help out the handling / stability.. Hartranft has also been getting lapped by the leaders.

Not a Bogel hater at all but the guy just would not get in shape. He still had the speed to lead a lap in a SX race but no conditioning to back it up.

You can't ride Nationals like that. Having said all that, his retaliation move this year on Barcia created a lifelong memory.

Who has had a worse start to the nationals, Bogle or MavTV?
MAVTV……they had months of bull shitting us about their product. We all knew Bogle had life events happen coming into the Nationals.

When you dont put work in.. everything comes difficult. Best Bogle has done last 5 years been holeshot and 3-laps then fade.

The best he's done in the last 5 years has been a moto win at Thunder Valley, and an overall at Budds Creek.

No everyone needs the same chassis, different riders need a different feeling.

Honda came stock with steering dampeners, and I see most of them with the fork tube flush. Pretty common nowadays to run the fork tube flush, I did on my Honda and Suzuki.

It sure seems like his heart isn't in it this year. Doesn't appear to have been training.
