I think we have been looking forward to Bogle ride on the Geico Honda this year ever since he had some great races last year. Then came the slap on Malcolm Stewart..which was a questionable pass which has been discussed on the forum. But tonight I noticed 3 on air tantrums by Bogle. I know he is young...but Larocco needs to tell him to chill out. Just my observations.

my dad and I were talking about this and I agree...he got mad when the guy rammed into him after HE (Bogle) stalled the bike in the corner. Then he gets ticked with the incident by the finish, not sure who's at fault for that one, but still...calm down man.

Give me a BREAK, please. How mature were you guys at 16 and 17 years old? He's excitable.....so what? I remember a time when Chad Reed was the biggest bitch out there. Now, I can't think of a rider who has earned my respect more than Chad for the way he has matured.

Give this kid some time for goodness sake.

Agreed. Reminds me of Alessi with all of the entitlement and throwing his hands up. I thought it was funny that he wasted time showing his displeasure with the guy that accidentally hit him when he stalled instead of kicking the bike over, and then being ok enough to bitch at the rider he got together with in the air but laying on the ground 3 seconds later. The kid seems like a bitch.

I dont recall anyone else yelling at or hitting someone every time something goes wrong.

I was actually thinking the same thing about Bogle tonight you guys were.

Yep. I agree. He needs to get his emotions in check. Just immature. Hopefully he'll grow up a bit after this learning season.

Tyler Evans.

Mike Alessi threw his fair share of hissy fits and he has grown leaps and bounds since his rookie year. The kid will mature but I do agree that he needs to keep it in check a little but I also understand his age...he's only a couple of years older than my son.

When this many people agree and are on the same wavelength, it is a pretty good indicator that something is up. I also agree that Bogle seems to have an attitude about incidents on the track. His throwing his hands up in the air body language says, "I can't believe you did this to ME. Do you know who I AM??? I am Justin FREAKIN Bogle!!! How DARE you mess with me on this track in this race? Didn't anyone tell you this was MY track and MY race?"

Mr. Lorocco needs to have a little sit down with that boy.

He's reminding me of a spoiled brat that throws a fit when he doesn't get his way. Ken Roczen is right there with him.

How is Roczen, the reigning MX2 Champ, "right there with him"? This makes no sense, at all.

I missed the race, but saw the crash. Was Bogle and the guy on the Zook on the same lap?

I thought Bogle should have seeing that coming.

Dumb comment. Chad Reed was mature beyond his years when he hit the US scene in 2002. He may have whined a bit off the track, but have never seen him throw a bitchfit like Bogle has on the track!

Chill guys. He was just trying to speak italian with his arms, just like Peter demonstrates here:

https://youtu.be/9JhuOicPFZY

Jk's aside, I agree with the majority of you, he seems to blame other people too much. The incident where he stalled his bike and someone tried to ride through him wasnt Bogles fault, so thats explainable and I would be pissed if someone did that to me. But then jumping sideways on the outside of someone over a jump where the main line isnt actually a straight line going through the air, that was just stupid.

Lots of pressure on young prodigies in this sport, and they're used to everyone treating them with kid gloves on the track. Bogle had some good rides last year but the second year is always harder, and he's just going to have to remember what it was like when he was one of the fast guys but not THE fast guy, and keep working hard. And he's going to have to remember that those other guys out there are trying to make a living at this, not win a plastic trophy. If Bogle thinks they're going to give him special treatment, he's dead wrong about that.

He seems like a good kid, he'll figure it out. All second year pros go through this to some extent. This a whole different game than they're used to.
