Haven't seen a whole lot of top teams rushing to find outdoor specialists who may not qualify for SX mains right away........
He could definitely be competitive for top 5s outdoors, even before the field thins out due to injuries, but don't see to many decent money outdoor only contracts.

Watching dudes cross the pond and compete increases my interest no end and watching Bobby have a crack would be cool but I just can't see that happening. Far too many good American based riders without a ride who can provide solid results inside and out. Whilst Bobby could be a podium threat outdoors, he can be hot and cold and would he even get through SX? Or would it be an outdoors only contract? Is the money there? If that was going to happen, i'm kinda suprised we haven't seen something like that sooner, with the likes of Desalle or Simpson who have come over and performed well largely on borrowed equipment at the odd National etc in the past. He sounds desperate though, always a chance to buck that trend.
It would be a shame to NOT see him run the outdoors. If he can't get something going over in the GP's , it sure would be awesome to see him over here for the nationals next year. Outdoor only?.....there are some possibilities , and a great chance for some TV time. When he's on....he's on , and can flat out haul the mail outdoors. I sure hope he gets something going.
" And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.”
I've heard him interviewed on pulp-mx, he seems to be a likable guy. It would be cool to see him come here and do well...but I think that about any foreign MX'er.
its so sad that we here in the US are so obsessed with poser cross and that real motocross is dieing
Such a shame he won't be on Honda, deserved to stay imo. Great rider. Hopefully he gests something good in MXGP or USA, he deserves a factory level ride in either series.

He's too agressive for the AMA, would be branded a dirty rider.
If you don't crash alot you just ain't going fast enough, Danny
Can someone explain to me why Geoff is hated so much around here?
Do you have a legitimate reason for hating on MXLarge, or do you just see it as fashionable because other people on this forum hate on him & you want to be 'in with the crowd'?
A grown-up who will NEVER down-vote you, no matter what you say.
Go on- show the world you're a powerful S.O.B and hit that downvote button! You're such a badass! :-)

you just questioned a 10 year veteran of this site. I would have to assume that Avidchimp has interacted with Geoff or read his posts.
A large percentage of his posts have an anti-American sentiment. Even the least patriotic American is going to be bothered by that.

I'd guess it's because he is to Luongo what Spicer was to Trump.
And everybody likes Luongo.
Regarding Bobby, we can ship Nagl and Tixier in the same container, if anybody's interested.
Longer than that actually, my account was reset on that date.
As far as my statement, Geoff has done nothing to promote a meaningful conversation on this site in many, many years, and constantly baits people into arguments all the while trying to get people to click on his Luongo sourced propaganda.

Why would anyone be bothered about what he thinks of the USA? To be bothered by it means that you think his opinion comes from some authority on the matter.

How about Justin Hill SX and Bobby MX?
Actually I'm kind of surprised there aren't more teams supporting different riders like something like this. I understand SX pays the bills but good resilts in MX would too.
I agree.
Max Nagl has finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 6th and 6th in MXGP points
Bobryshev has finished 3rd, 4th, 5th, in MXGP points
When healthy both should be a serious contender for a top 5 points finish. I'd also think they would be available for a low salary.
But maybe it wouldnt be a bad idea for them to just wait untill injuries take their toll in SX and do a MX only deal to replace an injured rider.
