He posts here on occasion, so maybe he'll see this and tell you himself.

He's running a track now, I think it's Kern County Raceway Park.

Is he still riding? Watching him in the WORCS series (and him coming from a MX background) was so good...

My first supercross I went to was his pro debut at Indianapolis in 2001, he got 10th. He raced 2001 & 2002 for Pro Circuit, earned AMA Rookie of the Year in 2001. Both years in supercross and outdoors he had injuries, including a really bad one at the start of 2002. Went 2-28 at Hangtown in 2001, almost won the second moto and overall until Langston brake checked him at the end of a high speed straight.

He raced a few races on a privateer Honda CR250 in 2003 but wasn't doing much, didn't want to race supercross and wasn't making money so he switched to offroad but did a few nationals 5-8 years later.

Bobby won the 2008 WORCS Championship when it used to be a big deal. Here is a good read of the day he won, a last round must win situation where he won the title by 1 point over Ricky Dietrich:

Don't think so, not much at least. His son Race Bonds is ripping a 50 last I saw/heard.

Yup. Haven’t had a chance to ride there yet, but the people I’ve talked to that ride there really like it

He was getting a bunch of momentum in outdoors 2001 and Langston put an end to it from what I remember. Didn't he get hurt from that and it started a chain of events?

I'm pretty sure it was a bad elbow injury. I saw it in person and it was a nasty crash!

So, judging from what I’ve seen of L.A. traffic the last few days, about a 17 mile drive, 1 way.

We don't measure drives in miles, we do it in hours.

Taft son!!!!! Spun lots of laps on a few of his secret tracks including one pretty cool supercross track. Bonds is a badass. I saw Langston take him out at Hangtown as a kid was gnarly.

I remember seeing him ride at Club Moto in Livermore, CA right before he turned pro when he was on Hondas still. That kid had unreal speed and was putting a hurting on his cr125 out there, you could tell he had IT. Still despise Langston to this day for that chicken shit move he pulled at Hangtown.....

Yeah, I saw that too. It was a douchey move that shoulda cost Langston something for dirty riding. Still hate hearing Langston as a commentator because of that.

This I have learned quickly. Been lucky, most of my driving has been in my rig, and I’ve always avoided the really nasty traffic, through luck or planning. However, I’m here in my Yukon, dragging a U-Haul, at 58mph, staying as far to the right as possible. It’s good to get out of the rig, because I’ve now realized the abuse I’ve suffered isn’t because of what I drive, it’s BECAUSE I drive. Fun times down here. I miss the prairies, and the -30C. Okay, I miss the prairies.

One of the dirtier moves you'll ever see. Never been a GL fan, because of that incident.

I'm sure there is somewhere, but I've never had luck finding it on YouTube. I believe it was Hangtown '99. Could be wrong on the year.

Bobby does a great job with our local track at kcrp. It’s amazing how good our farm/oilfield/desert dirt can be when it is taken care of! Track gets some good ruts, has some nice jumps(all really tabletops-kcrp management demanded “NO GAP JUMPS”) and some good technical corners. Bobby also trains some kids at track on the side. And yeah he can still rip a gnarly fast lap.
