#Repost @blakesavage762 ・・・ Some of you may have heard by now but I had a crash on Monday on the motorcycle and Fractured C 5, 6 & 7 in my neck and lost feeling from the chest down. I have some spinal cord shock, swelling, and a small hematoma. Positive news is my test came out as an incomplete spinal cord injury, which gives me hope I can possibly get back to normal activity some day. Surgery went well and I’ve had some up and down days since then but each day making progress. Today I’ve had the most upper body and grip strength so far and can feel finger touch pretty much everywhere but cannot fully move under my own power. It’s going to be a long road ahead to get things back to normal, but I’ve been getting good news and have some great supportive people that have my back. Thank you everyone who has reached out to me and that have came to see me, it means so much to me! Im going to fight hard through this, just like anything else I do ? We aRe with you my brother ❤️ we ll get thru this all together ❤️?????? Blake crashed Monday morning riding with me and we had a tough week all together. Focused all week to get the most out of recovery. He is one of the strongest people i know and there is no doubt in my mind he ll pull thru this??

Ken mentioned in a interview his family had had a hard time this week. Was wondering what he meant by that. Now we know, hoping for a full recovery for Blake.

My brother shattered his c5 back in September in a motorcycle crash. I know how his family is feeling and it couldn’t of been easy for Roczen to go out there and race. It takes a long time for the swelling to go down and I hope he can get all of his feeling back.

Damn. I knew Blake and his dad a little back when Blake road 85s for the Suzuki off road team. Good folks, hoping for a full recovery for Blake.

This sport is so damn awesome and so damn brutal.

Wow after what ken himself has been through, this has to be a tough blow, at what point do you start to get a bad taste for the sport... he is one mentally strong person thats for sure!

damn man, i've known Blake since i was a kid as we grew up racing a lot of the same races. best wishes to him and i sincerely hope he has a full recovery

It is pretty amazing how these riders can just get on the line with major life events happening around them. Best wishes to Blake. I broke my C2, 5 & 6 a year ago but no lasting effects thankfully. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Super, super bummed to hear this.
Around the time I won my WORCS title, Blake was the fast mini rider, and then pro 2 rider in the years following.
I’m not gonna say I knew him or his sister personally, but I watched him for sure.
I never wanna hear this about any other rider...
