My only thought is that Monster must have really boosted their support in order to get their front end away from factory blue
Hopefully the Monster Energy Yamaha's compete well against the Monster Energy Kawasaki's in the Monster Energy Supercross series presented by Monster Energy. I'll give them this, they really know how to saturate a target market.
What a bunch of babies ?. Bike looks sick with the blue wheels it’s a nice contrast. The 18 bike had to much blue but I guess people can’t tell it’s a Yamaha cuz it has a black front fender
Looks like Danny at D’cor really put a ton of thought in to this one..... My 7 year old nephew is more creative than this. Way...

I actually think they put too much thought into it. Barcia's bike looks clean and the design makes sense. The Star bikes look like a cobbled mess. Lose the half blue seat and the idiotic frame stickers, and try to follow the lines of the bike. Just my amateur design opinion.

I agree. Tyler and the boys at Factory Effex did a way better job than D'cor
I'm not a huge fan of black bikes but I appreciate them shaking it up. Other than Geico, all the other factory bikes look nearly identical to last year. Ktm, Kawi, Honda, Suzuki and Husky barely changed. I mean some of them like seriously hardly did anything different.
Props to Yamaha for at least offering a different look. I'm good with it.

You think one person had all of the say in this? There is a reason why all of the Yamaha teams look the same globally, it's because Monster said that all of the bikes will look like that. Don't go bashing one person when they really had no say in it. Know your shit before bashing people.

I swear, you guys hate every bike change that comes down the block - for about a month - and then you love it and want it and happily buy whatever it takes to make your bike look like it. Save yourself some time and aggravation - love it now. I do.

No, I don’t think just one person had a say in how that bike looks..... however the D’Cor name is on it. I’ve been a fan of Dans work for years ( remember One Industries?), but this one leaves alot to be desired. Want proof? Look at Barcia’s new ride....
Same color scheme, but with thought put into it. Bike looks rather striking...... Factory Effex made due with the limited color palette they were given, and pulled it off very well. Four decades in this Moto world, I’ve seen a few bikes here and there.
Merry Christmas to you.....

It wasn't even a color palette that was given, it was the entire design. The bikes are so similar I don't understand how you can think one is ugly and one is striking. I don't care how old you are or how many bikes you've seen, there's no reason to call out one person that couldn't do much with what they were given. By the way, it's not Christmas yet.
