The copy is translated from Moto.it. I always wanted a Bimota.

Bimota BBX
Now, therefore, the Bimota are no longer just and strictly road. And this is in itself a significant piece of news. The unexpected BBX definitely the stand were two representatives of two different technical philosophies. The BBX 250 and 300 are fitted with a two-stroke single cylinder engine with electronic valve exhaust developed by Bimota same, like the chassis. This is a rather sophisticated engine, so much so that it is equipped with internal water pump (so you can, for example, remove the clutch without having to download the coolant), and starter motor in the front the base. The engine is mounted in a compact double-cradle frame equipped with components of great value, as is tradition of the brand Romagna. We have a Marzocchi upside-down from 48 or 50 mm in diameter combined with an Ohlins shock. Braking The braking system with discs Bat-fly, 250 and 200 mm and clamps machined from solid like their pumps with radial front, however, little choice in the usual off-road world. This bike should arrive in January 2012 at a price per hour hypnotized only around 9000 Euros.

Turning to four times here is the family of the BBX 400, 450 and 508 which should be available by next spring and who shares the same chassis of the two times. But in the near future is set to expand with the advent of a new motor currently under design, 250, 300 and 350 cc. All above models will be equipped with electric start.

So many of those bikes look the same in general. I know when you look at the details there are some significant differences.

Finally, a better looking front fender! Even though it looks similar to older YZs, it is 100% better than the current ones IMO. Not crazy about the black or cable operated power-valve, but like the Ohlins shock.

Second to last pic. What's that thingy with 2 cables coming out of it on the side of the cylinder? Some way to control the power valve?

Looks essentially like a different colored ktm with a different fender .....even the engines look the same as ktm w different covers including the 2 stroke but the added an electronicically controlled powervalve. The ktm's are awesome bikes this year so ill bet these will be just as good

Since the Japanese went to sleep in the off road R&D, it seems as if everyone is jumping in the game. Funny funny shit to listen to all the insiders preach about the costs of retooling and the investments into 4 stroke mx machines made by the Japanese OEM's. All these cottage industry builders are spitting bikes out right and left, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, mx, enduro, supermoto.....you name it while the previous big 4 continue to offer not very much. Damn shame they shit on their loyal customer base like they've done.

Yep, that's true. It seems there's new 4s and 2s coming out of the woodwork, from everywhere except Japan.
