Figured I would go the other direction from Matty

Mine was the 2002 CR250, hated that slow POS. Kept it a year and traded it for a CR450.

1989 KX500, piece of junk, that thing ate more transmission gears than I could order!

I grew up around CR's, my dad had a 93, two of his friends had a 96 and a 98. On the day of my HS graduation I went to my local Honda dealer and bought the '02 right off the showroom floor. I was a dumb 18yr old kid, I didn't do my homework and realize Honda went to a case reed engine and an electronic PV for that year. The '01 was a good bike, the '02 was shit. If I could go back in time I would have bought the YZ or RM.

A bike that belonged to a pro rider. It had a lot of trick parts but apparently he rode the shit out of it, the transmission, everything was wreaked.

Nope...got ya beat. 2004 RMZ250 (the first gen KX250F with yellow plastics). That bike ate parts like nobody's business. Handled great though

Wasn't me per say but I remember my parents were super stoked to hock my big wheel LEM 50. I can only remember a couple of times when that thing didn't break. They bought it for me to transition to the 60. I was learning to shift on the KX60 shortly after the purchase of the LEM haha.

I Had a 1992 YZ125 for a short time , I Think they Looked aaaamazingly good and i love the ergonomics on it, it fit like a glove , But Heavy and Slow, i think it felt heavier than it was just because it was slow.

She's a Loooooooka tho, as Jimmy D would say.

97 CR250. Glad to see that thing go. Went with Kawasaki as soon as the 98’s came out.

97 & 01 CR250's - 1st & 2nd gen AF bikes weren't very good & felt Honda went backwards from the 92-96 models.

05, 06, 08 CRF450r's big heavy bikes that didn't turn well.

09, 11 YZ250's some of the worst bikes owned. Engines didn't have good topend power in comparison to the other Japanese models. Transmission gears seemed to be made out of cheap grade aluminium. The AF chassis was rigid & weren't very good turning bikes.

84 & 06 RM's - POS bikes that didn't have a good chassis.

Hmmm.. I never really hated any of my bikes, but the only one that even comes somewhat close was my 07 YZ250F. I liked the bike for the most part, but had a lot of bad luck on it. I had good finishes, but I also had a lot of weird crashes on it. The motor was really mellow when comparing to my 05 KX250F. I had one really weird/bad crash at Perris on that Yamaha that bent up the bars, broke a few ribs and hurt my ego. She went up for sale after we got new bars and fixed any other issues.

We got my dad's original race bike back a few years ago and bought another one for a parts bike. He's always told me it was really fast but handled like crap and the fork oil would turn to water when the bike got really hot haha.
