Check the photo section (or homepage in a few minutes). I've got a batch of wallpapers featuring bikes of the Monster Energy Cup. There's some interesting things going on in there.

Fair warning...that's not his 2013 graphic package. The TwoTwo rig is naked white this weekend.

I think it's interesting both Kawis and Braytons bike are running Showa instead of KYB.

Kawi's maybe but JGR has ran Showas forever.

Reeds bike is ugly IMO. JGR bikes look sweet. not a big fan of the gold number plates on villo's bike.

The white on the MotoConcepts bike looks so much better than the black from last year. Their bike was ugly and unrecognizable last year.

All those head pipes hanging in front of the frame scare me just looking at them. Someone is getting that crushed this year in a first turn pileup.

The Honda headers have run in front of the frame for a while now..

Wow Barcia has black rims. Has factory honda ever ran those? Wish their bikes had more red.

Big fan of Reed's, but that graphics package looks like one afterthought agter another. Too busy and cobbed together. Needs to consult a clutter counselor.

Can't believe that
someone like Ozzy
would let that
out of the shop.

But, there is always something about a nicely prepped Honda , they always look good. Even with black rims.....since I now own a set.Smile

Mophie Outride is a new sponsor of The Chad, quite innovative: http://www.mophie.com/v/outride.html

And I see a TLD logo on the bottom right shroud of Barcias bike, must be the new team pit gear sponsor?

PR just arrived.

Chad Reed Becomes Newest Member of the Monster Army
Australian Superstar Introduced at Monster Energy Cup Press Conference

CORONA, Calif. (October 19, 2012) – Mere hours before the gate drops on the 2012 Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas, Australian superstar and motocross veteran Chad Reed was introduced as the newest member of the Monster Army at the pre-race press conference from Sam Boyd Stadium.

After earning a pair of Monster Energy Supercross titles in 2004 and 2008, an AMA Motocross Championship in 2009, 57 career AMA victories, and the most podium finishes in the history of the sport, Reed holds the distinction of being the most successful international rider of all time. With 11 years of competition under his belt, Reed has competed against the sport’s legends of past and present like Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, Kevin Windham, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, and Ryan Dungey, defeating each one of them in amassing his impressive racing résumé.

“To sign a rider of Chad’s caliber is an incredible addition to Monster Energy’s motocross team,” said Bruce Stjernstrom, Vice President of Sports Marketing for Monster Energy. “He is one of the sport’s most influential riders who’s accomplishments speak for themselves. Along with Ryan Villopoto, Dean Wilson, Jake Weimer, and the entire Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, Chad embodies what Monster Energy is all about, proven winners who pave their own path.”

Reed is making his long-awaited return to competition tomorrow night at the Monster Energy Cup following a lengthy recovery process from season-ending injuries suffered during the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season. In his continued preparations for full slate of 2013 title runs in Monster Energy Supercross and AMA Motocross Championship, Reed will return to his home country of Australia to compete in the final three rounds of the Australian Supercross Championship, beginning next weekend in Phillip Island in conjunction with the MotoGP event.

Like the new Motoconcepts look. Much nicer than that awful black splatter they ran last year.

That is big news.

Other than the factory Yamaha team running Ohlins in the 80's I cannot remember another factory team not running the works version of their OEM suspension supplier.

PC runs Showa A-Kit but still.

Team Honda almost always runs Factory Showa. Honda's production bikes will either have KYB or Showa depending on the year. The only time I can remember that a Factory Honda rider did not run Showa..... was Jeff Stanton in 1994.
