I know most of us have a bike we’ve sold that we regret ever selling. What was yours?

Here’s mine
2003 YZ125. I bought it in 2010 from a buddy for $1000. Rebuilt the entire motor and rode it 3 times after that. Sold it for $1000 because I listened to my dumbass ex girlfriend at the time.

1982 YZ80
1983 CR80
1991,1993 and 1995 CR125

Back then I was in a much different financial situation where I needed the money to buy another bike..

I hear all the time from my dad how he wishes he still had his '68 GTO and '69 Chevelle..

My boss still has his original '65 Mustang he bought new...

It was a while ago, got it new in 2000 had a few good seasons racing out of it then traded it in for a new 2003 RM 250 and never really got on with it, always preferred the 125. Would love to still have it now.

These were in the time when we could get new bikes from Holland for peanuts. Those were the days!

1990 KX250 - was one of Chicken's practice bikes. It had a few trick bits and I got some race used plastics with it.

Sold it to a friend about 20 years ago and was able to buy her back last year! It spent some time stored outside, but is actually in pretty good shape. Looking forward to finding some time to do a rebuild.

Yep, ALL of them.
Except the 84 YZ125L
And the 85 YZ250N
and kind of maybe the 90 CR500 (it was a vibrating lemon/Monday bike).
There has been quite a few since 79'?

1978 RM125

Mainly because I really liked the bike but, being a kid with limited mechanic skills, I could never really trace an
intermittent spark issue and didn't have the money to have someone else work on it. Wish I knew what I know
now, but I didn't. Crap.

1982 KX 250.You had to bleed the front brake often to keep it working but I had a blast on that bike. I'd buy one now if I came across it .

1997 YZ125.... OMG, such a great tiddler, especially for the time... wide powerband, good overall power, easy to ride, usable suspension out of the crate.... virtually zero issues with the 97.......

Also..... 1981 YZ125.... Crazy looking... bad suspension....... but so bad ass at the time!!

82 PW50 Mod bike built by Ron Densford Sr. and Ted Moorewood. One of the first ever made with monoshock off a YZ 60, forks were off and Italjet PR50, several one off parts including triple clamps, exhaust with a aluminum silencer, and more. I remember it being so strong and fun to ride, could pull me easily. Last time I rode it was the final moto at Ponca in 82, two days later it was loaded on a plane and I never saw it again, sure wish I still had it. I'll have Mom look for some pics of it at her place, she took a ton of race pics back in the day. Good times!

My old '73 Bultaco 360 Astro and mid '80's Jawa 898 speedway bike. Other than that, I'm all set with the moto fleet. But never say never...

I wish I still had my 04 SX 200. That was a cool bike. Been looking for one in decent condition for a while now, but they are hard to find.

1987 CR250 that I bought from Eyvind Boyesen. Love to have it back for 80's ACR Vintage racing.

I don't really have any regrets. I almost sold my 2006 YZ250 a few years back though - glad I didn't do that. I'm gonna keep it.
