Over the years we have seen some unbelievable rides on a 250 bike such as Stewart Webb and now Osborne. We don't seem to see that same level of skillset and raw speed on a 450 from even the same rider when they move up. Of course we know it's because the 450 is more about being smooth and enduring where a 250 you can just flat out make that bike your bitch. What are your thoughts? I personally just love seeing top guys rip on that 250f machine. You can tell when someone is flying on a 250 it's a little harder to tell on a 450.
I think what I am trying to say is I think we see better rides and more of the rider come out on a 250 machine.

Roczen at the first half of Moto 2 Millville last year was really really impressive. It looked like he was riding the piss out of that Suzuki passing guys like they were tied to trees.

I'm all for getting rid of 450s. Racing is better on the 250s because more people can ride it closer to the limit. They can also be more physically aggressive because of this and that is exciting to watch.

The 250 class was king of the hill at Washougal today. I'm not ripp'n on the 450's, but they seem to settle in after a few lap's. I watched the 1986 MXON this morning just to get "my fix" of Johnny O whupping up on the 500cc on a little red onetwentyfive. Skillset....

Now we're talking. I never got a chance to see RC in moto on that 125, but I bet it was a thing of beauty.

So because you guys can't handle a 450 you think they should do away with it... interesting

Agreed. Im sure tomac, baggett, musquin, and the rest of the top guys arent using their bikes to the full potential. Makes sense.

I agree with you 100%.

The 450 class is extremely boring partly due to the bike.

Even the 250t class back in the day had more action.

Remember how guys could really hang it out on the 125t.

Same concept but totally magnified with the 450 pigs we get to watch.

Just get rid of cc rules. 1 premier class, 1 support class, both open to strokes and size.
