Lots of medium size doubles and tables in a layout that really flows when you get the timing down. The landings are forgiving enough that it's rare to have anybody chop the throttle in front of jump faces. Soil has just enough clay mixed into the loam so the jumps hold up all day. B-rider heaven.
The Shop
I'd have to say the Pala National track.
Remember the Salt flats in Hayward?

Worst was Hangtown in 1999. Cement hard-pack and just nasty heat.
Pit Row
Zednek velky CZ jumpimg down the step down
we did a schoolboy national there early to mid 90s- think it must have been just before it shut down. The track is actually still there, real shame the owners have no interest in re opening it. Was some great tracks in that area- Cheddleton was another one of my favourites thats also not in use anymore!!!
miss that grey loamy sand
Back in the 90s, I would have said Budds Creek was my favorite track.
Oh and buffalo creek.
