Need to ask some opinions....we're in need of a quiet slip on muffler that won't rob too much power from the KX450F.At our practice track we're getting complaints that our stock exhaust is too loud.Any suggestions?

I've seen those but I had a friend that got one and said that he noticed a drop in power. Our practice bike is close to our race bike and I'm trying to keep them as close as possible.I may order one to give it a try anyway to see for myself.

You guys have seen me mention it before. Consider the Rocket Exhaust slip on. It's relatively inexpensive, especially compared to the others. It's rugged. I've put a beating on mine in the last year and it's held up just fine. If you look into the stealth version it will be even quiter but my racer series is much quieter than the new stock CRF450 and WAY quieter than the stock KX450f. That thing is obnoxiously loud even to someone who's a four-stroke fan. I run mine with the spark arrestor screen. It adds a little bottom end punch and still revs out fine. http://www.rocketexhaust.com . The owner posts here as well.

I put my 450 on the dyno with, and without the insert. The bike lost a whopping 1 hp. It just seems slower because the bike is so quiet. Any way you slice it, it's better than losing your riding area.

I hear weapon mx is good.... It will make your bike do wheelies and you can rev it for days!

Might as well order some of that anti sloshing foam that won the Championship for Langston while you're at it.

i have an 07 yz450 and i have the same problem. i have a whit bros system with diff end caps. it is stupid loud when its open but a little quieter than stock with the spark arrestor insert/quiet tip in. it feels slower but its really not. i can do all the same jumps out of corners with the quiet tip in.
