No one wants to share what they thought was wrong with the stock CV valving (2017)?

Are Cone Valve forks automatically set up for every rider who buys them? Rider weight, riding style, type of tracks, etc?
It is up to the wp center. They have access to tables with rider weight, type of riding and other recommendations.

Most of the time it is sufficient to adapt spring and oil level. Stock recommended valving is good together with red cone and 25nm cone spring. Some is running blue cone and 25nm also with stock shock.

I would Ask them to start with stock/standard valving and red cone with 25nm spring and take it from there.

I'm at 385 oil, 4.8+5.0nm springs, red cone, 25nm cone spring, stock rebound (but 10-12 clicks instead of 16), and around stock comp valving and clicks. No preload. That is for 195lbs without gear, fast/intermediate b-rider. Paired with Trax shock 48nm 105/40mm sag. Shock is valved a lot slower on rebound to adapt for 48 spring, but otherwise stock valving and around stock clickers.

The initial valving from WP was terrible; super stiff. The second revalve from WP was a 50% improvement. After the 707 revalve they were amazing.
