Ok after a couple of motos comparing my AER's to my friends Cone Valves, I've decided to get a set. He got his @ Factory Connection along with the Traxx shock. It looks like FC charges another $225+ for revalve. I'm sticking with the stock rear shock and just getting it revalved/sprung.
Is FC the best option? I've heard Powerband Racing and Kreft are dealers as well-

I had Enzo revalve a set of WP CC forks for mine. Springs are nice.

I just bought another set of CVs this week from NorCal Motorsports (which are now a WP Authorized Center) for my 19 KTM 450, and they along with my stock shock are going to Billy at Powerband.
He bought cone forks and had the stock shock valved/sprung by Factory Connection.
The rear shock, according to him, is one of the best he's ever had.
That's a big statement since he's been riding A-kit stuff.
Initially, we modified some X-trig clamps and made some custom axle collars to put his older spring a-kit fork on the bike until he had his Cone valve stuff done.
He says the A-kit handles jumps and stuff better, but the cones turn slightly better.
(I attribute that to the longer fork-lug offset on his particular Showa fork).
His only gripe is that the F.C. fork valving in the cone fork doesn't give him the confidence the RG3 valving in the Showa fork gives. I got the impression that it boiled down to a communication issue with FC.
I rode the bike with the FC stuff. Although I'm faster/younger, I'm a lot lighter (165lbs vs 220lbs). It turns awesome and feels well balanced, although the springs are a bit heavy for my weight. It was a HUGE step up from any stock KTM/Husky fork I've ever ridden; they always feel like there's no oil in them stock.
