I'm about to buy 5-6 dunlop tires and I'm looking for some recommendations for the best place to purchase from online. Usually I get them from RockyMountain, but wondering if there are any sites that may offer better pricing. I've tried my local dealer, but they can't even match the Rockymountain pricing so I'm hoping to hear from others where they are able to find them.

RM or one of the other big online vendors is probably the way to go. One of my local shops doesn't even carry Dunlop because they retail online for less than he can buy from the distributor. Not a whole lot of margin in rubber Smile

Motosport.com isn't too bad. I usually do a cart with Rocky mountain and Motosport. Then just pick whoever is cheaper.

RM is about as good as it gets price wise. Its to the point where that RM should be your default

EBAY. I buy from JMCSuzuki which is Cernics/MXTire. Usually wait until I get a 10% Ebay Bucks certificate. Just bought a set of MX33's for 165.00 front and back with 10% Ebay bucks, so really cost 148.50 and no tax or shipping cost. RM would have been 168.00 plus tax.

I would love to, but not sure I want to spend $20+ more per tire to do so. I was even willing to buy 10-12 tires to get better pricing and they still couldn't even match.

I always hear the same thing from dealers 'we can't even buy them for what the online sites sell them for'.

If you have a local dealer that is a Dunlop Pro Dealer then they can match any online price. The shop closest to me just became a Pro dealer 🙏

Motosport is the best bet. Quick shipping and great pricing

Why?
Looking for Twinwalls. Local was $213 (cdn) plus tax. Online was $163.00(cdn) plus tax with free shipping. The Renthal Kevlar grips were close to $10 more as well.I dont mind paying a little more for great customer service, but the KTM dealer close to me does not offer that either. Rather order from the convenience of my own home. RMATV is amazing and include all taxes/duties for Cdn orders. Some items are even cheaper with exchange etc. Just need to watch and compare.

Local dealers are dead. Once they find a way to sell bikes online they will no longer exist. Goes for most brick and mortar stores. Internet is advancing too much. I used to go into the dealerships and there would be people everywhere buying gear etc. They are empty every single time I step in there now when I need something last minute.

Spending double at a local dealer doesn’t make you a hero.

To the OP. Your best bet Is RMATV

We use to go to LL just to buy tires off the Dunlop truck. I remember getting some killer deals on the last day of the event. Seems like we got the racer replica for $45 each. Not sure if they still sell to the public but I know they did a few years ago.
I realize this guy is looking online but just throwing that out there for others who may be interested.

Not in every state, they just added 13 more states so I think they are up to 21 states now with more to come in the fall.
