I have never been a mouth guard guy, but after getting roosted in the face last weekend, which resulted in a chipped front tooth, I’ve been strongly considering using some mouth protection.

What mouth guards would you guys recommend?
What do guys like Eli and Baggett use?
Are you running a tether to your helmet? (like a football player... I tend to lose things so this sounds attractive to me)

I have a Shock Doctor one I have been using for years. I’ve heard it can also help reduce the chance of getting a concussion.

After checking the website, it looks like the one I have might not be available any longer.

Do you have a case for the guard and is it fine to leave that in your gear bag?

Have your dentist custom fit one, dual density. Yes they also help prevent concussion. The over counter that are available cost quite a bit for the “better” ones. If you are an adult, the custom made variety will fit for quite awhile.

Yes. It came with a case and I’ve had it in my gear bag for years with no problems.
