One of my best freinds who is like a brother to me was seriously injured at Budds Creek yesterday. Currently has no feeling from the waist down. Surgery is today to repair T4-T7. I have always seen the stories posted on all the sites and felt really sad for them and thier family and freinds as I sent my payers, but now it has hit home for me. Please send him your thoughts and prayers. I usually never get emotional about stuff, but I have broken down a few times and Im just devastated Sad

Thanks guys. He is a really good dude and would do anything to help anyone. Gonna be some tough times. He is a really active guy always involed in a lot of sports that he is passionate about including MX, Streetbikes, surfing, golf, gym, etc. He has a really good group of freinds and family around him though to always be by his side and keep his spirits up. Man, I still cant believe this has happened Sad

I will find out if we will be doing some kind of donation site and let you guys know incase anyone would like to help out.

His Name is Mike Marley. Crashed in the first turn in the 45+ class. Bike cartwheeled and came down on his back.

Sad news indeed, I would be equally torn up if it were a good friend of mine....we have all watched each other take some big hits and walk away with a wince, a laugh and a gimp....fortunately nothing like your buddy is going through...
now is your time to be a great friend to him as you know he would be for you if the tables were turned....I hope for the best that his prognosis improves after surgery.

Prayer and positive thoughts work, and your friend has all of mine.
