I've got a 21 Honda for the record. I got 8 hours out of the stock pads. I got two motos out of tusks "race" pad. I got on rocky mountain to look at pads and I have no idea what to buy. I also noticed for OEM stuff they offer two options.

I really like DP pads. They have a standard and 'MX' pad which is more bite. I race offroad so I've smoked brakes quickly in the past but I got a full season last year on one set and they still look great. They also have good 'feel' and not so numb like the stock pads that came on my husky. Personally I run the mx in the rear and standard in the front.

I’m at 55 hours on the stock pads on my 2020 Yz450f and about 3/4 of the pads left. Are you accidentally resting your foot on the lever?

Coming from a guy that rides with his foot on the brake and is the one that always has squeaky brakes - EBC MXS Series Race Sintered pads have been the best (copper color). I will go through a stock set of rear Husky pads in 6ish hours in dry conditions.

Maybe he’s fast and uses the brakes.

Motomaster pads are awesome, I have had really good wear and they have really good info on their site as to what each different pad offers durability vs feel vs performance.

Braking CM46 have great bite and last a good amount of time for me, a notorious brake dragger.

EBC carbon Red pads, I'm a brake rider they dissipate heat and reduce fade. If its a wet race take them off they don't like the moisture.

Which ones did you end up getting? I’ve ran the GP and the nitro and have liked them both!

Nitros. Paid $17 a set. Smoking deal.
I’ve run Braking, DP, EBC, Ferrodo, Galfer, OEM, Moose, etc.
First set of Motomasters.

Ferrodo front pads were always my go to, when riding jap bikes, but the stock Brembo pads on the KTM’s are hard to beat !

But Mav?

how do you know the Guarantee Fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? Next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, seen it a hundred times.

Yeah... I have tried just the nitro (not the sport) and the GP version of the sinter pro. I liked them both, but I prefer the GP.

Awesome! Has anyone tried Renthal brake pads? I have a set as a spare I’ve never used, I’m just wondering what they’re like.

I’m in Australia mate, I just ordered them in through my local shop. I’m not sure who would stock them in the US.
