ok, well i can tell you this because i live 10 minutes from temecula. i would go to milestone mainly because of traffic because it will be bad in the morning until around 9.30, and bad again after around 2:45. l for one would rather drive less distance and far less time and ride more but that's me.

I feel it doesn't make big difference as you still have to go through the 215 & 60 junction traffic jam. The difference is maybe 15 minutes and if you go to Glen Helen you can check out the Chaparral Motorsports on your way back.

Next month Thursday’s won’t be as crowded with Pros, since the nationals will be done with. I’d go there, if I were you...

I'm thinking Glen Helen is definitely the way to go after seeing the pics of milestone. I'm planning on racing Millville the Sunday before so I will be able to say I rode 2 National tracks in the same week.

Still in for GH? I'll be there from 8A-Noon; If you spot a fat guy on a little bike (#24), say 'Hey' Cool

I ended up going to Glen Helen yesterday, and glad I did! I got to ride on the track with Roczen, Anderson, Barcia, Tickle, and RV. Pretty sweet! Also, got to meet RV. John from MX Dreams took good care of me, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking to take a trip out.

I had a rare opportunity to hit GH in the am yesterday. So awesome seeing so many top pros and all around fast guys. Track was fun but a little short. Had a great day excluding JA21 on the track.

Yeah, is the track usually in that format? I wasn't super impressed with the track itself. Millville is a lot more fun in my opinion. Still very cool though.

Sounds like he didn't learn his lesson from the last run in he had there?

No, the track was shortened from it's normal layouts. Maybe the truck race had something to do with it. We went to Budds Creek in 07 and the track looked amazing. Went to Matterly in 2017 and that track was so awesome. Hoping Red Bud will be great too. Never ridden an East coast track but it's on the bucket list. For a track basically in the So Cal desert hills, GH can be really fun but can get extremely rough too.

I would go with Cahuilla creek. It stays pretty smooth there. All their jumps are medium to long table tops. They have a vet track and their main track is completely manageable for a slow guy like me. Prep isn't as good as Pala, but Pala isn't open on Thursdays.
Agreed, l came over from Australia a couple of years ago, l practised at Cahuilla Creek, perfect tracks for Vet riders, l then raced at Glen Helen. I wouldn't want to get in the way of any fast pro's at GH ;-)

What happened with Anderson? He got in a rut behind me, and I heard him yelling at me haha.

He did that along with riding off the track, just about hit a ditch at speed and proceeded to do the look back like it was my responsibility to get out of his way. It was coming down the downhill and I continued to use the line I had been riding 4 laps in a row..After my moto, I walked over and watched him give the rev and look at others with the same look. Next time you see him, remind him it is a public practice day on Thursdays, no matter your speed.
