I know this thread probably exists somewhere, just figured I'd throw it out there. With the lack of racing I'm just looking for something fresh to occupy my time.

This is the one for me, 2003 High Point 125's, Mike Brown and Charge Life go hard.

I was going to nominate Jacksonville 2009. Two dudes at their peak who really did not like each other, just going at it for 20 laps. I've probably watched that race 20 times.

I don’t care what anyone says, Vegas 2017 will be one of the most entertaining races I’ve ever seen.

I was there and witnessed greatness.

(from Wiki) 1987, Rick Johnson won what is considered one of Supercross history's greatest races in the Super Bowl of Motocross at the L.A. Coliseum. After crashing in the first corner Johnson came back from near dead last to pass Jeff Ward and eventually privateer Guy Cooper on the penultimate lap to squeeze the win.

Tried to find a video online with no luck.

most of these are what i was thinking

Most of the 2006 and 2007 250 races were awesome

2006 and 2007 450 specifically where JS7 and RC4 went at it...legendary

2004 Las vegas 125 followed by 2004 Hangtown

It would be nice if people actually wrote a little something about what happened in the race they are mentioning.

This thread would be about 100times more interesting if so.

2014 Toronto SX: Stewart goes 14th to 1st (easily) while jumping huge rhythms that no one else was doing. I remember he was wheelie-tapping this one section and BLEW by Ryan F-ing Dungey like he was standing still.

Race #1 of the 2013 Monster Enegry Cup Amateur All-Star Race: Just pure carnage as amateurs are completely sending it and crashing their brains out, casing triples and exploding off their bikes, etc. Jordon Smith goes full send on the last lap trying to catch Hampshire and ends up launching himself into oblivion off the track.

Lot of good ones mentioned already... Have to add in Steel City 88 or 89. RJ and Lechien went at it for mostly the entire moto. I was there in person as a kid. I remember Lechien break checking RJ in the S turns pretty good.

Had to be 88.

Stewart was amazing that race for sure, but for RV - pretty sure that was the year he had a stomach bug (or something similar), fist time he hit the track was for his qualifier.

A2 2014 is a personal fave of mine. As said earlier, the entire 2017 Vegas night show was epic.

Rick Johnson’s Profile of a Champion has a good amount of footage from that race
