I have today off and want to watch some old supercross/motocross.

What're the best/most dominant JS7 races?

Too many to list. I would start with 2014 Toronto. His last true masterpiece IMO

The only race I can think of where he won but clearly wasn't in his finest form was his last National victory at Millville in 2014. Other than that, just pick a race, sit back and enjoy. Any of his SX or MX wins from 2004 on the 125 are just mind blowing. I think he only lost two races that entire year.

'03 unadilla crashed while leading, got up to win the moto anyways.

'03 budds creek moto 2. This has THE LEGENDARY moto 2 (halfway through clip). The one everyone talks about. Crashes in the first turn, comes from WAY, WAY back to win the moto. If you've never watched this, this is the moto that really made Bubba the man.

2014 Toronto supercross

Bubba put on a clinic here. This is how its done at the highest level of the sport. The jump combinations he pulled off here are insane.

2007 St. Louis. Reed vs Carmichael vs Bubba. This is an incredible one because Bubba comes back from last to pass everyone including Reed, coming in 2nd only to Carmichael. Another clinic put on.

From a link in another post, I'm watching the 2012 SX season. Through round round 1 and first part of rd 2, Stewy has fallen 3 times, and I have as much anxiety and surprise from it as I did 7 years ago.

Any race JS7 is in, is arguably exciting. Just love watching him ride more than any rider in history, even on his bad days.

2012 SX was so rough on Stew he dumped that Yamaha

Listen to David Bailey narrating Budds Creek. He is left literally speechless, especially after one truly epic Bubba Scrub. It was a clinic, and crystal ball into the future of MX.

Also, didn't he win Unadilla w/o a front brake lever? Not talking about some lame "oh, I lost my brake" excuse. The damn thing was dangling from the handlebars! At Unadilla! Who does that?!

Good list to include Unadilla and 07 SX race

He was at his best I think in 07. Was basically whether or not he hit the dirt as to if anyone would be close. Ridiculous.

But his most entertaining races were pretty much anything where he crashed or got a shit start in 125s... and just railed through.

Cheers, Crush

Was that the race him and Canard went at it?

I think he had a good race vs RV at monster cup one year too.

Yeah. Canard and Stewart were killing it. That’s a classic.

How about the national after Reed kept saying all he needed was a holeshot and he'd beat Stew. Then Stew pulls over, lets him by, then passes him back.

|

1/18/2019 5:01 PM

Any moto when he was on a 125!

|

1/18/2019 5:02 PM

That he wins, it's 03 Budds Creek no doubt. That he was involved in, I'd once again go to Budds Creek in 07.

If we went SX only, then it's 07 Orlando.

What was crazy about that 03 Budds Creek is that he came from dead last and still was in the lead by the halfway point. He was passing guys like they were C class riders. Made Bailey go speechless too. I don't think any other Stewart race can possibly top this one.
