Been seeing IG stories with “get well soon” type msgs for Tyler Bereman. He’s recently Instagram-less and not very active on Twatter, trying to get some info if anyones heard anything...

That is going to be one hell of a recovery period...between the talus and the heel alone he’s looking at a minimum of MONTHS. Mine went well over a year and I still feel it to this day 13 years later

Bereman is a good dude, hoping he pulls through quickly

If he didn't feel upset at KTM he wouldn't have put "brand new ktm" in his post and just said that his bike died.

Know a guy locally who had the same issue of his new KTM dying in the air. Got lucky nothing injured.

Who would not be upset?! I have spent 98% of my riding years on the Austrian brands and I would be mad as hell.

Worst fear right there, something totally out of your control just takes you out like that. Hope he heals up quickly and fully, I hate seeing stuff like this.

PS, lets leave the bike debate out of this thread and keep things positive.

I've don't know of him, but wish him well.

This sport now has a degree of difficulty so high there is no margin for error. It didn't used to.

Wishing him the best. That's a long list of injurys. I broke the navicular in my right foot 2 years ago now and it's pure dread to take the first few steps in the morning.

I can't imagine the mental toll that 4 knee surgeries takes on a person. I really wish him the best and for a speedy recovery. Injuries suck.

sorry, a brand new bike, doesnt matter what brand it is shouldnt lock up, all of them should come properly tested from the factory, in bereman´s story in instagram he had a picture of the tacoed KTM, i would be so mad.

btw, didnt he rode kawasaki? he´s switching to ktm now?

Ankle and foot injuries are no effing joke. My acl surgeries and recovery were nothing compared to this pilon fracture I am dealing with 9 months post op. Wishing the best for Beremen. Rad dude for sure.

He was in a recent Twitch vlog prior to this accident and he didn't seem happy riding his new KTM. A racers worst fear. Sucks to go down like that.

Noticed the exact same thing. Didn’t seem to enjoy the change at all. Not a KTM hater at all, but that crash is not going to help him like the bike more.

Damn, that’s terrible to hear! A similar thing happened on my buddy’s ktm 450. It wasn’t brand new (17 with some hours), but he had been riding all night, hopped on the track when our practice started again, made it about 25 feet and his bike died on the face of a small table (luckily). Unfortunately he still ended up with a broken wrist, but could’ve been much worse. His bike fired right up and another buddy rode it back to the pits. I don’t think they ever found anything wrong with the motor or electrical.
