Just read on motoverte.com that he will race the Paris SX on a Bud Racing 250 Kawi.
If I'm understanding correctly with my school-french, he's trying to have American teams pay attention to possibly race the AMA circuit next year if he can't get a good MXGP ride (he has to move up and still doesn't have a ride).
He practiced with Musquin before Monster Cup and also on the Yamaha SX Test track.
Does anybody have more info on that?
Not sure if he's really looking for a ride in the US or if that's just the second option if no MXGP deal shows up.
He's one guy that has business to prove in MX2 but has to move up. IMO one more year in MX2 would be perfect for him. He also turned pro pretty late

I wonder if Paturel and Hsu will do some west coast SX races with Bud?
The Shop
Paturel has no deal for '18, so he needs to showcase himself in Paris and hopefully raise some interest either side of the ocean.
If he isn't that fellow, sure, send him over. If he is, y'all can keep him.
But his confidants to become world champion and to win a few GP's didn't worked out. He won one GP and finished a few times on the podium and didn't fought for the Championship if we're honest. So the big offer he hoped for and expected to come didn't came. Also the lack of big private sponsors to help him onboard of a team is a shitty situation for him.

Neither is Cole Seely showing up in either 2015 or 2016 results for the GP at Glen Helen, but he might have been spectating i guess.
Not trying to defend Paturel his actions if what you guys say is true though, just wondering!
Pit Row
Did he "grab'er by the pussy", Donald style?
But if I do, then he went out of the pits with shorts and sandals and was stopped by a (female) security guard trying to get back into the pits.
He also wasn't let in when he told her he's a rider. So he just pushed her aside and walked in.
Dunno, wasn't there and we're not even sure who we're talking about...
