Just read on motoverte.com that he will race the Paris SX on a Bud Racing 250 Kawi.

If I'm understanding correctly with my school-french, he's trying to have American teams pay attention to possibly race the AMA circuit next year if he can't get a good MXGP ride (he has to move up and still doesn't have a ride).
He practiced with Musquin before Monster Cup and also on the Yamaha SX Test track.

Does anybody have more info on that?
Not sure if he's really looking for a ride in the US or if that's just the second option if no MXGP deal shows up.

He's one guy that has business to prove in MX2 but has to move up. IMO one more year in MX2 would be perfect for him. He also turned pro pretty late

Also the article says that Ferrandis is out for the Paris Supercross because he's still not recovered from his injury from Budds Creek

I’m surprised he hasn’t been offered a ride at Wilvo Yamaha due to the Yamaha connection but it’s looks like Seewer could possibly take that spot..

Seewer already signed with Wilvo.
Paturel has no deal for '18, so he needs to showcase himself in Paris and hopefully raise some interest either side of the ocean.

Does that track have whoops? Couldn't tell as vid was short. Or maybe there were whoops and he struggled. We'll never know...

The tracks that Bud Racing riders ride have usually whoops.

The fact is that Paturel got a offer to race for Rinaldi back in March, but because he was really confident about himself and the season he was riding he wanted to wait a bit longer and be free for other offers so he said no to Yamaha, and they signed Jeremey Van Horebeek again.

But his confidants to become world champion and to win a few GP's didn't worked out. He won one GP and finished a few times on the podium and didn't fought for the Championship if we're honest. So the big offer he hoped for and expected to come didn't came. Also the lack of big private sponsors to help him onboard of a team is a shitty situation for him.

Sure was. I was one of the few people that saw it close up (GuyB, me, a couple of others, and Cole Seely might have caught the tail end). I will never respect that guy, regardless of anything he does in the future.

Hmm are you sure ? I tried to look around a bit and could nowhere find any info about this. There was an security guard incident at Glen Helen though but it was during an AMA race

Neither is Cole Seely showing up in either 2015 or 2016 results for the GP at Glen Helen, but he might have been spectating i guess.

Wouldn't he and couldn't he be a good fit to replace Millsaps? Ok he's a long shot but he can work with someone like Yannig Kervela or a other coach to become a bit better at supercross and do OK!
