Last night while keeping a close eye on El Hombre...it also enabled me to see & follow Benny thru the entire Main. Why? Because, he was the guy RIGHT BEHIND Jason! I recall

It was awesome. Benny was riding really, really well and seemed to have a pretty good grasp of how to get his Factory Edition to hook up on the slick stuff.

I’m thinking that he’s still not quite “100%” healed or rehabbed from his early season mid-haps & that leads me to believe there’s more speed to come.

Stoked for the young gun from the mid-west.

Didnt he have a few races running in the top 5 out doors a few years ago? Solid ride for him.

Benny is the real deal.

He'll do some damage outdoors.

It's really nice to see him get some form of recognition after the VERY rough beginning he had this season. I was telling his coach, Robbie "something", that I'm expecting some podiums during the summer.

Benny IS that good.

My Son trains with Benny at Robbie Reynards. Benny is a great young man. Hard working and determined. It's remarkable what he accomplished this year in the 450 class. He essentially skipped 250's.

From what I saw on a ridiculous sand track practice, Benny will make noise in the outdoors. Benny's light shines very bright.

Noticed him too Manny! And the big man rode a hell of a race. I bet we see some good finishes out of him this year in the outdoors!

He seems to be a bit like Tickle in that he takes a handful of races to build up a head of steam. Makes me think that without the injury, we probably would have seen quite a few rides like he put in last night.

One crazy thing about Benny.

Coming into this season, he's only ridden in 9 supercrosses. 250 & 450 combined.

I can't wait to see him outdoors, especially at Unadilla.

Agree 100% Manny. He was so good on the 450 outdoors, and I think people forget he was a ROOKIE. Not just on a 450, but as a professional.

Underrated. He's really getting SX figured out.

I am fully on the Bloss train!!! He isn't flashy, but he is young and has ridden very smart this year.

Give that guy another 2 years and holy smokes, he might very well be podium material on a weekly basis.

Good points made above. Especially the fact that he "skipped" 250's and it's only his 9th SX race total, 250s and 450s. Most didn't realize he was a rookie in 450 SX and was hurt going into, and throughout, the season. He's a serious rider and puts in the work.

His Vegas result is even more impressive knowing he's been riding and training for the outdoors prior to the race, not SX.

Congrats Benny!

About "skipping 250s" and why...

As an honest-to-goodness privateer, he raced 250s in the East his 1st season. Then he got picked up for a few rounds by Rock River...I believe we're talking 2016. Yup. 2016...he rode for RR for a few rounds (I think he rode 3 rounds on his bike and 3 rounds on theirs...?). The RR ride was a "replacement rider gig that ended before the sreies was over.

During that same year he got picked up by Forrest at Butler Bros MX (RockyMT-ATV-MC KTM) to ride the last few SX races: he rode Foxborough, New Jersey and Vegas. It was a VERY stressful year...all the while...the guy went out there and EARNED POINTS and made mains on his own bike, Rock River's bike AND ON A KTM 450!

Then he went outdoors to The Nationals with BBMX and took 6th in the series...I believe he got the Rookie Award for that, too.

Another pretty big accomplishment was winning the 2015 Horizon Award at Loretta's.

I'm excited to see the future for this kid! Talented outdoors and just proved he's getting the chops to compete at a very high level indoors.
