Looks good up until the cheesy and over-done "racing again to save the farm" bit.

Saw it at Loretta’s. Spoiler alert: everyone dies at the end. Russians take over. Nuclear fallout. And turns out he lost the farm to radiation anyway.

"You were holding out on us . . ."
"I coulda gone pro . . ."

Honestly?

Barf. Stupid as fuck. Hollywood will never, EVER get any sub-culture stuff right.
(Or believable, entertaining, un-cheezy or whatever else.) Never.

See "Dog Town and Z-Boys" vs. "Lords of Dogtown" as the most glaring example.

Yes, I realize the story is not entirely about moto but they start throwing that into the mix then there
is a sense of accuracy that has to be there or else it just goes straight Cheese Whiz.

It looks like one of the stinkiest piles of dog shit I've ever encountered.

Not only does the trailer look bad, but the interview with the lead actor during the race broadcast made me want to watch it even less, the guy is clueless and seemed obvious he didn't do any research for the role.

Was thinking this too, I heard him say after Marv crashed “If you don’t know what you’re doing out there it can be very dangerous” lol

They are playing the whole "all american" so hard. Living on a farm, giving up being pro, joining the military for a greater cause, loses a leg (now a hero) and then comes back to win the girl and the farm.... If you want a moto drama interview my bank account

They should've made a movie about the events leading up to and including Brandon's first race. Now that would fill some seats. Coming to a theater near you - Brandon's War (based on a true story)

Same old story, guy gives up on racing because life is tough, also good chains are hard to come by.
Then one day he finds an electric dog!

But what did you think of the person interviewing him ? Bouncing her head and shaking her left arm like it was going to explode.

Clueless still, but I believe that was in response to John Short cartwheeeling into the mechanics area.

Does Tyler Evans make a cameo appearance? It would be cool if he did.

You Guys are tough Critics, honestly I do plan to go see it , I was just happy that there was a movie with Dirt bike Racing in it.
Of course I would like to see one that's actually really Good.
I can Picture Channing Tatum as The Main Character,
And throw Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio n there as his Buddies.
With Steve mathis as his Mechanic, and and Cole seeley as his Brother.

$20 says this movie has a Ryan Dungey cameo and quick one liner... something like "hey Bennett, looking pretty good out there!"

We’ve got so many incredible backstories on so many riders and this is what we getPinch Roczen comeback movie? Nope. Dungey lackluster amateur career to legend status as a pro? Nope. James Stewart or RC going from poverty to incredible success stories, Reed leaving AUS as a teenager and continually believing in himself throughout his career. Nope.

I mean come on, there’s storyline literally sitting right out there and this is the crap we get. I really try not to be a hater or be negative but this is unreal.

It's got Supercross the movie written all over it.

What l don't get about Hollywood and moto is that they won't make a pure moto movie because they feel there's not enough people in the niche to make it profitable but then they make a half assed, shitty looking movie that appeals to no one and then complain that moto movies are a waste of time and effort.

Just make a sincere, realistic looking moto film and see what happens guys because right now you're alienating every possible movie viewer and attracting no one.

It’s like they had a check list of every possible cliche, and then proceeded to check them off 1 by 1. It just looks so cheesy I just can’t.

This film will appeal to the general masses who think he bike does all the work it’s believable in that regard. People will see this in theatres and enjoy it.

Looks corny as hell, like every other "moto" movie before it.
Every other movie except the greatest of all-time the one and only Frezno Smooth...... I literally wore the tape out watching that movie over and over again.

Hmmmm. Pops can't be that far behind on his mortgage payment(s) if this guy is going to use AMA purse money to get things back on track. Tongue

I really wanna support this, but man it’s cringe worthy. Who was in charge of the moto side of things during filming?

According to IMDB, Rich Taylor was one of the stunt riders.

Some others you might know Sean Collier, Oakley Lehman, Carrie Bolling, Brian Medeiros, Sean Hillion, and more. Just some of the guys I rode, hung out with whilst I participated as a rider xtra. My son too, he’s the rider wearing Airoh helmets.
