I wouldn't be surprised if he came out flying and stole a win. He's proven to be a smooth, consistent rider but just needs that little bit of extra speed. He may not be the type to hunt guys down if he gets a bad start but if he can pull a holeshot I could see him holding on for the win. Really rooting for this guy he seems like such a good dude.

From what I see so far, rhythm sections on first base side are tricky. If you’re timing is off, you are losing a lot of time or crashing for sure come race time.

Wish there was a way to get one of those Star Yamaha jackets. Would pay a decent premium for it. Don’t understand why the powers that be prohibit teams and riders from selling merchandise. There is a huge demand in my opinion.

On a side note, if I was a chick - Colt Nichols. My wife swears she saw him on the wall at Abercrombie and Fitch. Can’t say for sure since I don’t go in there, but there’s definitely another career he could excel at. Not that he needs it, lol…

Lot of different ways to hit that section. Some guys are tripling on to the table, some going completely over to make it a quad, some are also going on off. Lot of guys having trouble with the timing of it each lap. It’s a tough section.

Dude is fast enough to top 5 the 450 class and looks great on the bike. He is easily one of the 5 fastest riders in both classes combined through the whoops. I think with this many west coast style tracks too, he’s gonna beat Colt.
