Kinda negates the 'he only hates the track because he didn't win' counter argument.

Someone save this interview before it disappears.

What I can tell you is that after the press conference BT and Everts were summoned to a meeting with GL...

"Coming to some of these tracks, they're just not good enough. You're going to hear honest and open from me. Qatar and here, these tracks aren't the pinnacle of our sport. We're the MXGP - the best riders in the world and these guys can't sit here and honestly say its an amazing place to ride a motorcycle. We're in a flat paddock, in the middle of nowhere.

"I tried to get a GP in New Zealand, and we would have been there this weekend. You guys would have had the best event in the entire calendar if you came to New Zealand. That's where the culture shock is for me, to be in conditions like this.

"In my opinion this isn't good enough for the sport and I'm glad I got the opportunity to say that here today. Because we get told not to put the sport in disrepute. But this is the best championship in the world and I think it deserves better."

Would like to see what happens after those comments, but you have to respect the honesty those tracks are shit. Kudos to BT for speaking out.

GL and Bernie are both crooks and bad for their sports respectively.

it won't change anything except how the Team and rider get treated going forward.

Might as well be standing on a corner shouting to Al Capone his bootleg whiskey sucks.

If you listen to the interview now, that bit has been removed lol

I wonder if Geoff went running to GL with his hand up in the air, telling on him as if they were at school lol

BT is right and everybody knows it. These tracks suck and it's all about greed. Nothing else. No one even goes to watch at Qatar for fuck sake...

I'm swinging off Townley's nuts right now and I don't care what anyone says.

Go BT101 !!!!

Guys don't flame me but last year was my first time that I watched/recorded the whole World Championship. My first impressions of the Tracks were exactly what BT just said. I always thought if it looked that bad on TV I bet it's really bad in person.
Thank goodness a rider finally spoke up and stated the obvious.

It was about time that a rider told the truth!

With a round in Indonesia next year it looks like we are in for another shit-overseas track somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

He's 100% right of course, as we've pretty much all agreed for yrs now, but it's especially good to hear it coming from a current top rider - no punches pulled.

I'm confused as to which is the best series in the world?

Didn't bother going for the qualifying today but heading out to the paddock tomorrow for a look.

It's no suprise that someone finally said it and rightly so,some excellent tracks on the circuit but the series is blighted by these poor ones in these obscure places middle of nowhere,cha-ching...
