I’m sure this has been brought up countless times but her we go. I new to actual riding mx but I have been following the sport for my entire life. I had a rm 125 back in the day but only rode the track once. I currently have a Harley and am looking into trading it in and getting a mx bike. I’ve always wanted to race and that’s my goal. I’m debating on the typical 250f vs 450f and am leaning towards Kx. I would just be racing district 23 hear in Minnesota. Please give me your input. Good or bad haha

Open C, get a kx500 and a 360 camera so we can all watch the carnage. Seriously though get a 250f or a 125. You will thank me latter.

If this has been brought up countless amount of times, why would you expect us to type the same stuff over and over again, instead of reading previous posts?

Get a 125 or a 250f. 450 is going to break your bones or kill you.

Might be best to learn the basics on a slower bike, like a 250f. You could do 450, but why? You don’t need all that power. Up to you ultimately, good luck either option sounds like a great idea.

I wouldn't get a 450 right away. Even coming off a Harley that might be too much power for you just starting out racing. I'd also consider going a different route then Kawasaki. Their bikes are pretty hard hitting in the power department. I don't ride them but I've heard good things about Honda being more beginner friendly. Either way good luck and make sure to get a proper fitting helmet.

Why are you guys such dickheads? And then there's all the hand-wringing as you wonder why new people aren't coming to the sport.

Get a 250f mate. Racing is the most fun you'll ever have.

Keep the Harley, buy a used/cheap 125. Go enjoy yourself.
