Top ten pole shootout just run and won by Team Penske/DJR driver Scotty McLauglin in the Ford Mustang over 4 tenths faster than 2nd and with a new lap record also set.
These guys train on MXers so I'm calling it moto related.

I know van Gis and his old man through when he raced quads at the local mx track(and put times up on a sand track as good as top 10 mx guys in nz, at mercer, a sand track!!!!!), he's a good dude, and shows up on iracing a bit as well,

but by fuck, is Scotty and the DJR Penske team is on it this year

and to those aussies, when Fab's is on it, the 1, 2, 3'a must hurt,

what do you think about the DJRTP incident with Fabian holding up the field for 40 - 50 seconds,

at first i thought it was a bit shit, but now looking into it, it majorly effected the feild, the enforcer and the dude youtube show had a good break down of it, shoiwing that Scotty would have come out 5-7th in the line,

So pissed I missed this round! Suppose to re-air this next wednesday. For some odd reason , I can watch previous rounds on my DVR , but it shows Bathurst unavailable until it re-airs again....shit!! My favorite car series on the planet too!

Im not sure there is any perfect outcome. I dont think you can take the win of Mclaughlin, but the whole situation is just a shit go. When it happened i thought Coulthard was just doing it to stop himself having to double stack, If he'd just held everyone up for 10 or 15 seconds id say he gets away with it, but the amount he did it was just taking the piss and completely ruined it for everyone.

A drive through penalty for Mclaughlin aswell would've sorted all this out. I dont see how the winner of a race should be anybody other than the car that crosses the finish line first unfortunately.
