Will Barcia be penalised for cutting the track? He missed the triple and the sand section after he was re-routed by Weston...

Apologies if this has been covered by someone but couldn't see it as most of the talk has been about Tomac and Marvin

He rides for Monster so should be all good.

Seriously, the starting gates might have made it hard for him to get back close to where he came off the berm? He was fuming for sure.

No way he should be penalized. He rode safely through the starting grid clearly looking for a safe place to re enter. He couldn't have done it any better honestly.

They docked him for “accelerating” while he was off track. Looked like Barcia definitely wasn’t slowing down while he was trying to get back on.

One rider decided to leave the track after standing at a dead stop, the other was pushed over a corner through tuff blocks and onto the starting grid.

They penalised him for going off the track of his own free will, accelerating alongside the track and skipping an entire section of track before rejoining.

He wasnt pushed off the track. He didn't mske a mistake that put him off the track. He made a mistake and left the track by choice.

Should be a minimum of 20 seconds for a penalty in my opinion. Didn’t he re-enter right behind where he went off at? Should have lost time.

It looked like he was blocked by that Toyota Tundra as well. Realistically he didn’t have many options to getting back on track quickly.

How about re-enterig the same place he went off (the way it should be)? Oh no that's not safe but gassing it off the track and skipping two or three sections nis so much safer. Sorry this is my one pet peeves of pro MX/SX. They didn't always do it this way - go back and watch races from 10+ years ago.

I think its time for judge Judy to look at the Lid Pro or how ever you say it Data. That Data will tell if they did or didnt speed up or slow down. Perry Mason is dead i think.
