Nothing could be further from the truth! Dude has easily produced the most entertaining riding and moments from the last decade. He may not have 450 SX titles or a ton of wins etc. but Barcia will be remember for years and years for his style. Other riders will be remembered as champions but not for their styles

Barcia’s ride at Spring Creek was impressive and so fun to watch. He has posted new videos on his YouTube channel lately also great content. Dude is the definition of WFO! Also I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lead thread get over 210 likes and counting!!

The part where he jumps across DF14’s line, and then holds his arm up in the air was epic. Last lap?
Yeah a mid-air apology to Ferrandis after a crazy long dogfight for accidentally cross jumping. Then he flat landed, lost the bars, got his hands back on the grips, and pinned it again. Crazy. Yeah i think it was on the last lap or near the last lap..

I had the good fortune back in 2011 to get a call telling me to get hangtown to help water. Turned out Geico Honda was stopping by to test suspension for the upcoming outdoor season. Barca, Tomas, and Canard were there. Barcia was a Young kid at that time, as was Tomac.

I remember Barcia being so fast, but taking the last lap or 2 to throw the biggest whips he could off every jump. Tomac was just destroying the track. He would move a berm a foot when he came through. I talked to Barcia a little after one session and he was really nice. Been a fan every since and happy to see him rocking it.

It's funny you mention those days. I swear I read somewhere that Eli was actually the one who's bike went through fuel faster than Justins did even though it seems like Justin is the Rev ranger of the two.

Nope. Just 125 supercross. No 125 outdoor National Championships. He had small window to do it in 96 (Lamson won 125 outdoors), then The GOAT arrived in 97. Rest is history.
