Anybody heard anything about what Barcia is riding next year. Would love to see him on a 350 never seemed to adjust to the 450.

I wish I could "never adjust" to a 450 like he did. FYI! He won 450 nationals and SX. Why can't people understand that he has been hurt and has had to come back from serious injuries?

I m very aware he won races on the 450. Maybe he s hurt because 450 power too much for him. He was battling for championships on the 250 and not hurt as much either. Sometimes a little less power is better.

The 250 sx championship he won was with 2 broken wrists. I believe having the broken wrist calmed him down to a level he could make it through the whole season and still win races. He's fast but he's out of control most of the time.

It's not that bro. Once he left Honda his career went downhill. I'm sorry but even if he never got injured something was up with him

He won two... and apart from being the best guy in a class where revving the shit out of the bike isn't a detriment, he also got a lot of holeshots and Deano who was probably his only legitimate challenger, couldn't buy a start or literally start in Toronto.

If you believe the chatter, he was being paid championship caliber money.

Its fair to say that he didn't come close to being that guy.

Is his time on a 450 how many guys did? 2? 3? Outside of Roczen, Dungey and now Tomac, no one else in that class can say that so he has a lot of company.

Anyone else think that some of his injuries on the 459 have a lot to do with the way he rides it? Keeping the bike revved high and unsettling the bike. Revving the 450 like that upsets the chassis and the bikes just don't handle well like that.

Well I guess because he does not have a ride, he can buy a 350 and race it if he thinks it would help him.

Why you make the title as such is beyond me, you make it a statement to then ask a question and secondly im pretty sure the AMA doesnt permit 350cc cycles in either class

If I remember rite roczen would have won a sx on one a 350 if he didn t let his buddy short by not disrespecting short here .And rite now his career so to speak is in the toilet it isn t gonna hurt to try. What s the worst that could happen he could stay healthy and start getting top 10 s or maybe top 5 s.

Roczen almost won a supercross on a 350 during a break in the 250 schedule, right? Hasn't Musquin raced one too?

2015 Nationals- 3rd place (6 points behind Roczen in 2nd)...I'd say that was fairly close to consider him a title contender for the next year or two..

Alessi at Atlanta sx on a 350 one year had his bike tore down because he got a holeshot in the main. I guess all the other brands didn t like a 350 beating there 450 to the first turn. Cairoli dominated on one too If I remember correctly

This is mostly an mx thing.

Yea' I'm not going to tell a guy he's wrong in the way he rides or whatever, but we all watch the races. We see who wins, and how they ride when they do it.

Multiple sx winner DV flat out says he thinks Barcia rides a 450 the wrong way. Matter of fact, has any former pro ever said they like how he rides one? If so, i cant recall.

The skinny jeans are proven to cause low testosterone. That's the problem right there.

Hypothetically, if 250 2 strokes were the top class, how would Barcia fair? Surely he'd be able to keep it on the pipe better than those who have learnt how to short shift/ride the torque of a 450.

Dont see why he should race a 350, all he needs to do is shift earlier on a 450 and he would go faster...imho

Maybe 350 would fit his riding style a little better than the 450. Make the bike fit his riding style not him fit the bike. Why I say he would be faster on a 350 he likes to rev the bike.

You should call him up and tell him that. I bet he never thought of that in his 5 million practice laps at the test track. It must be nice having the skills like yourself to critique the top pros riding style.
